Looking for some feedback from the forum.
I am a Canadian citizen but in the United States for a few years. My mother holds an Indian passport and currently in the US as well. She held a 10 year Canadian Visa (and another one before that) but it has expired couple of years ago. We are planning a 3-4 days visit to Canada so she will need a new visa but the visa website is confusing me. I'm not seeing any option for a tourism visit in the instructions - only these:
To unite with a family member
To visit on business
To attend a funeral or provide support to a critically ill person
To join a vessel (marine crew member)
To assume a diplomatic post
To come with an immediate family member who’s assuming a diplomatic post
To handle the affairs of a victim of Ukraine Airlines PS752
To get the Canada-Ukraine authorization for emergency travel (CUAET)
None of the above
Looks like they are discouraging a tourism visit? Obviously I am not a resident of Canada right now so I cannot choose option (1). Am I interpreting this correctly? Thanks for any feedback folks.
