Hi everyone,
I applied for a Super Visa for my mother on April 15, 2025. She's 65 years old and currently holds a Visitor Visa that's valid until August 30, 2025, which is stamped in her old passport (also valid until August 30, 2025). She got a new passport in December 2024.
To support her Super Visa application, I requested new biometrics, even though her previous biometrics (from her Visitor Visa) are valid until 2032. Her new biometrics appointment is scheduled for April 22, 2025.
My plan is for her to visit me in Canada from May to August 2025 using her current Visitor Visa
I have a few questions:

I have a few questions:
- Medical Exam: Should I arrange an upfront medical exam for her now, even though she's planning to travel soon? Would it help speed up her Super Visa processing?
- Passport Submission: If IRCC sends a passport request (PPR) while she's in Canada, can I mail her new passport to India, have my sister submit it at a VAC, and then mail it back to my mom in Canada so she can leave before her Visitor Visa expires?
- Police Clearance Certificate: Is a PCC required for a Super Visa? If yes, how would she get one while she’s in Canada?
