Hey Guys,

I applied for study visa on 3rd august under SPP category from Ahmedabad. When should I expect the decision?

If your file is processing in Bangalore then expect decision after 25 August

buddy i guess last date of applying under spp category is 1 august ! :-X

it is not mandatory deadline..

if you go through cic website ... it is stated that .. applying under spp after 1 august ..the file will be consider under general category and most likely to be refused :)

if you go through SPP checklist
u will find this
We strongly recommend that you submit your application at least three months
ahead of your proposed date of travel. Applications that are received after 01
April for May entry, after 01 August for September entry and after 01 December
3
for January entry will not normally be processed in time for the start of classes
and may be refused.

not in august but seen a same case for summer intake that is may .. and you to apply before 30th march any how under spp category ! my 2 friends applied on 2nd april and got there visa approve on 24th april :)

almost all are waiting for results who applied after 10 July in Bangalore visa office.
