I recently renewed my passport and applied for TRV. Since, I am under worker category due to my extended work permit, shouldn’t I be able to receive worker when I extend my visa?

I sent my renewed work permit and statement of explanation, yet I received my visa as visitor. Any problem in the border if I travel and reenter?

Part of your question isn't quite clear.

To re-enter Canada, you need to be holding a valid TRV.

So, while reentering canada, if I hold TRV with visitor instead of worker, how does that impact my working status and records? Will that impact my ability to work when I come back?

Also, will I be able to reenter under worker status, with this TRV?
Thanks

TRV only allows to you to enter Canada, your work permit allows you to stay in Canada for more than 6 months. You won't get a "worker visa" stamped on your passport.

You should bring both documents (TRV and WP) when entering Canada to prove your status as a worker.

Thank you for your response! The first stamping I received it was under worker category, so the categories in visa stamping aren’t relevant?

That is because it was your first time entering Canada, so you got that visa and then you got a work permit on your point of entry.
