VISA TRANSIT

Hi,

I'm from Brazil, and I'm going to take a vacations on USA (from 6/mar to 19/mar) but I'm taking an air canada two way flights (on arrival 6/mar and when leaving 19/mar), I was instructed on applyin for a transit visa. Is this correct?

On filling IMM 5257 form, it request "detais of visit Canada" section, wich has questions on "how long you plan to stay"; "name of institution"; "relationship to me"; and "adress in Canada". I'm not going to stay on Canada, I will only wait on Toronto's airport for my flights to USA (on arrival NA) and to Brazil (on leaving NA).

How should I proceed?

Any help would be appreciate.

1. You selected "Transit" on question 3. Then you put N/A in the sections that aren't applicable. How long to stay 1 day. Note the same form is used for every type of visitor visa so it is generic.

the form request to fill a period wich I'm staying on Canada, but I'll stay only for a few hours at Toronto's airport on both of my flights. Wich period do I need to fill?

Do I need to apply for two visa transit? I'll have to take two connections flights on Toronto in two different dates (6/mar and 19/mar)

Yes, you need 2 transit visas. Put 1 day or 3 hours, it doesn't matter.
