aggregate - 76 % (bcom)

ielts - 6 bands overall no band less than 5.5

got admission in lambton college for financial planning wealth management with 1 sem co-op ... total duration of course 2 years....

going to apply under spp ... spp requiremnt for ielts is 6 overall no band less than 5.5 ... no gap in between studies ..

1 sem fees paid ... gic paid .. waiting for gic certificate

plzz give ur suggestion regarding my profile ..

Your profile is good, but visa officials might nitpick on your low ielts. He wever I have a strong feeling you may sail through. If reappearing ielts is not a possibility just high light your education more in sop. I am more concerned bout your choice of lambton. It has more desis that you would feel toronto being an extension of India. Unless your focus is part time work and absolutely nil canadian experience, I would advice you to change college once you have landed, let just say george brown , humber, seneca are all better options. It all boils down to what is your aim of coming down to Canada.

In an ideal case you should reappear ielts and get atleast 6.5 in each and enroll urself in a univ thanx to your terrific academics.

actually i am looking for sept intake in canada and last date of applying for study visa is 31 july .... so its impossible for me to redo ielts and get ielts certificate is short frame of time ... i am going to fill ielts exam in july for my satisfaction and may be it will also help me in canada .. i am taking a risk and going to apply on the basis of my academics ... otherwise if refused , i will again try in jan intake with good ielts score ... ya i will make strong sop and highlight my academics more ... thanx ....

True Tushar, there must be plenty of colleges Canada too where there are more of Desi crowd than others. Unless our friend just want to enter Canada on student visa and later try to jump on to WP through LMO or something...i guess we all have that secret agenda of settling in canada, at least most of us. I have it too and my intension is to enter the country and hunt for job. lets see how it works out.

Have a look on my case:
10th: 76% (2006)
12th:76% (2008)
BBA:82% (2011)
IELTS:7 (L-8,R-6.5,S-6.5,W-6)
Currently: Sr. Sales Exec. at Godrej interio Franchisee Store (From 2011 to till date)
I have applied for Post graduate certificate in supply chain management at humber college.I chose this course because of my personal interest in this program. I have done a lot of research on this program.My agent is Sunrise Chandigarh.They said you are having very good chances for getting visa but i am unsure because i am working at a franchisee store and my main job role is to get institutional order of good value like 30lakhs-40 lakhs. My company personnel are ready to give me in written about my job and past performance bUt my salary is just 15k.i got incentives too. Salary is transferred into my account every month but as i earlier mentioned i am a offroll employee coz m at a franchisee store. but i am having good refrence letters.What do you think? I am very keen for this program as its a SAP based program and job prospectus is very bright.Pls advice how can improve chances of getting the visa.

Brilliant academics and ielts. My only advice is if you are serious about studies and want to build your future long term (including possibilities of residency) Apply in a university. If i had academics like you i would have taken up a univ course. Some univ which admit based 12+3 pattern because of good grades and work ex

Royal roads
Brock
Capilano
Viu and TRU

Other univ might offer masters too with a small pre master classes.

Google the above, especially have a look at Capilano north american post grad / bacc programme of two years I believe it has a supply chain mgmt specialisation.

However unlike other countries Canada is picky about your earlier education and work background which should be directly proportional to your intended study.hence pick a specialisation which is relative to your background and than change it in Canada

Dont fret bout salary and off role employee scenario. It should be genuine thats all.

Do all this and you ill get visa.

Calm down. If its a online application have a look on vfs global with your receipt number. Current processing time of vfs chandigarh and i guess others is 3 weeks.
