Ohh no my bad.. I didn't know that you have mentioned INDIA.. Perfect.. No it's fine.. You don't have to mention Visa office..
It's by default the Canada Visa Office, New Delhi.

Cheers

Hi Folks,

Its been one month for me today without a reply from CPC. I don't know if there is any reason behind this because some of the applicants who requested a VO change after me got reply.

Do you have any suggestions on what I should do next? Should I just go ahead and submit the passport to local office for my family and my passport to Ottawa.?

Will VFS office in India accept the passport with just the original passport request mail?

pls help

Thanks

hi hiddenhero, Do not send any more reminders. 4 reminders is already too many.

Can you copy paste the email you sent Ottawa?

Also why don't you contact VFS? Isn't it better to get the information from VFS instead here?

Thanks for the detailed info. Could you also mention the VO office you have asked for ?? Because the timeline may depend on the VO office as well.
For New Delhi, usually CPC responds within 3 weeks ie. 08-Jul for you.

Let us know buddy..!!
All the best

Cheers

I have the same scenario as you, My wife is in India and I sent email to CIC to print her visa in New Delhi and mine in Ottawa.
Please let me know when you get an udpate and if your husband sent to Ottawa or still waiting for reply from CIC?
I sent email today - June 18.

Things to be submitted at VFS:
1. Original PP
2. Recent photographs (specifications from CIC website)
3. Copy of PPR email
Unless stated otherwise in the PPR email (in case of additional documents requested in PPR email)
Fees: If collecting from VFS in person 596/- INR if want it to delivered to your address (596 + 360) = 956/- INR

Hi Raaga,
do the applicant need to submit these documents in person to VFS office or anyone can submit on their behalf?
Thanks for your help!!

Hi ,

I was just reviewing my reply to CPC where I requested for VO change for My wife and kid. one thing which I did was I also included a request to change my canadian address on the same mail.

Does anyone know if that is causing this delay. ? My application status is already Decision made . If the address is changed, will there be additional check done or anything?

any way I am going to check with VFS today if they will accept passport with just the original email to submit the passport.

Thanks,

Hiddenhero..i would suggest you to wait..dnt submit pp widout vo change mail.u can send cic reminder mail..this is what i feel, rest depends on you

Guys,

My suggestion would be to wait...!!

As far as VFS is concerned, they were surprised when i went for PR stamping submission, they were confused that under which category should they accept my PP but good that i was having an email from CIC which had mentioned to submit the PP at local VFS and then to CVO New Delhi hence they were kinda .. they have to do it.

So don't think of an option for sending the PP to VFS without an email. It will complicate the issue nothing else.

HiddenHero, for your case as you have included a request for address change as well, that might be delaying the process and David, for you pls wait for few weeks.

Hope it helps.
Cheers

Address change is not a problem. But I believe sending 4 reminds was a bad decision. Yet we do not know how they work.

Will you please COPY PASTE the email that you sent to CIC??? So we can see if there is anything missing.

For Submission, Pls keep both the PPR emails (Original one and the new changed location PPR email as well)
In addition pls use a cover letter for your application reason being the VFS just takes care of transmission of PP from office to VO and back .. Hence do attach a cover letter mentioning your case and docs which you are attaching with the application.

Hope it helps.
Cheers

Hi Davis,

I am in a same boat with you I am in Canada but my wife is in Pakistan. Should I get my wife to send her passport to me through DHL and send both passports together to Ottawa. Or should I send my passport to Ottawa and request CIC to print my wife's visa at local visa office in Pak.

Thanks,.
