My friend got his PPR today, and he will be sending a location change request email by Wednesday next week. Lets see how long does his case take.
Meanwhile, i am also waiting for my PPR, once received i will also send a location change request.

Oh, it's not only that standard email. When I talked with an agent the last time...She said:" In order to help you I have to ask you a few questions..." and I was thinking, great, someone is finally paying attention....the sole question she asked was:"When did you send that request?", I said:" May 2nd"....all she did was to count 20 working days from May 2nd... In my case I am supposed to hear by June 2nd.....
BUT, as we know they not always respond in the the time frame they give us....And I am not sure what to do, should I wait more, because I have waited 2/3 of the time...And then I start thinking why should I wait more, when everything could have been over by now....
I don't know.....It is so frustrating....

yah man hear ya. If they are counting "business days", then the 60 day deadline should only count business days too.

Will they?? Don't think so.

Does anybody got RCMP/fingerprint request after the change of address?

Do i need to send address change right away or can i wait till Medicals or done.

Got response from CIC Friday (Saturday my time) to get visa stamped locally, sent request May 09, took 2 weeks. Going to drop in person to VAC on Monday. Good luck for the rest who are awaiting. It will come soon.

Yeah, you will hear soon man. Seems CIC is slowly responding to the request at the moment, remembered some members got response in just 2-3 days.

RCMP checks can be asked at any stage. You can ask for address change when ever you are ready (after file number).
