Hi guys,

Received ready for visa aka PP Request earlier today. I have replied to the same email, stating that I am in India and what should be my further course of action.
Do you recommend sending a separate email on this or a reply to their email should suffice?

Send email to cpc Ottawa for stamping in India. They will respond with an email and then you can go ahead send passport to New Delhi through VFS.

Hey guys!
I was wondering if I could contact the Canadian Visa Application Center at my home country (I am not in Canada right now) and ask them to submit my passport there before getting official response from Ottawa.
I was checking their services and I found under Passport Transmission: "If you have received notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, your passport(s) along with the copy of passport request letter may be submitted through Visa Application Centre of your choice. How to submit your passport: Once you receive notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, you can submit the passport (s) and your passport request letter:
Has anybody done that? I would have asked them myself, but I only found that today....

So will suggest wait for the reply as you need to send the copy of email which cic will send to you.

Sandrinho I would also say Wait for the reply from CIC.

Thanks buddy :) I will wait for a reply from CPC :)

How much time does it take to get a response from CIC-Ottawa for the change in location for Passport submission for Visa.
I am also expecting PPR request and would be sending an email stating to change the location to New Delhi.

What time timelines should i expect once i revert to CIC to change the location to New Delhi.??

Please help..!!!!

Thanks in advance.

Some of the requests are processed within a week, while other take a little longer (like 2-3 weeks). Me personally, I am still waiting, it's been more that a week for me :)

ohh ok.. ;D

PP Request was received on Friday evening (Ottawa time). I saw it Saturday morning in India. Immediately replied stating that I am in India. Later based on suggestions from the forum members, wrote a separate email to CPC Ottawa on the same. Considering the weekend, wasn't expecting any action. Hoping to get an answer sometime this week.

Must say that wait till MR was excruciating. From MR to PPR literally took less than 10 days. So all those who are waiting to hear from CIC. Sit back, hang in there buddies. Your hard work and patience will bear sweet fruits.

I have been waiting for 10 days since I requested visa printing at another office, so hopefully, this week will bring us more good news :)
