visa stamping at other office

Hi All,

Got my PP along with COPR (2 Copies) and necessary instructions documents last Wednesday...It took 8 days to got PP Stamped @ Delhi office through VFS. (See details below)...

CIC - Delhi requested two Latest PP Photos but returned one along with PP.

This comes to end of my long wait for PR...I would like to thank everyone of you for your guidance and very useful information which gave me great confidence and company on this journey. I had great time on this blog. Thanks all..

Urgent -Any inputs will help me
I had applied under FSW category when I was in USA, and currently moved back to India.

Can I ask for multiple offices for visa stamping reasons
a) My spouse is still working in USA, and she can do it in US only
b) Me and my son are in India, and due to my work situation travel might be tough, I want to do my visa stamping in India.

So please if any one of you have faced similar situation, please guide me, I have only 30 more days of original 60 days timeline, I lost time because of some advice and delay in decision taking at my end

Yes after you get ppr, Just email Ottawa, and they will ask you to submit in New delhi, while your wife can submit in USA.

BTW I am not sure if FSW has a different rule or not.

a) I had received my PPR on April 1st week, I was planning to move to USA to submit my passports because the paralegal/lawyer office recommended me to do that... even though the mail states that I can get it done in any offices, he spooked me saying that what if there is a delay in CIC response and what if they asked my wife (who is in US) to send her passport back to India, and in that confusion I lost almost 25 days

I am more worried now even to send email to CIC office !!!!

If you have option to go to USA, I would suggest that too. Go to USA, submit passports together, then land in Niagara Falls together.

I am about to request CPC Ottawa for PP stamping to be dine at New Delhi CHC. I am not from any of the metros thus I'll have to travel to Mumbai for submission of PP at VFS Mumbai.
Tomorrow I'm traveling to Mumbai for medical, I was wondering as to what all is required for PP submission with VFS.
Does it have to be the principal applicant themselves?
Since I am 1000kms away from any nearest VFS center I was thinking of seeking a friends help who could submit and collect on my behalf.
What all documentation is required for PP submission with VFS, also any fees?

I requested CPC-OTTAWA yesterday to allow me to get the visa stamping at New Delhi. Does anyone know how long does it take for CIC to reply with instructions to get the stamping at Delhi ? I received the response within a day. But there are applicants who received in 20 business days (maximum). So there is no exact timeline. We have to be patient until we get the email.

why dont you submit your pASSPORT DIRECTLY TO DELHI?

Hi can the passport be directly submitted to Delhi? Do you mean in person to CHC New Delhi? Without involving VFS Global? Also, can it be collected in person after the stamping?

I just asked to make arrangements for visa stamping at another office. Lets see how long it will take them to respond me

It take anywhere from 1-21 days to get a response from Ottawa. A realistic time frame would be any where between 3-7 days.

Anyone here in my situation ---> Principal applicant in Canada (submit in Ottawa) and Spouse outside Canada (submit in local CHC)?

Did anyone contact Ottawa under this situation?
