I suggest to call them up and see if request is added to your file or not.

So I called and the agent said they received my email requesting stamping of visa at local CIC office and that it has been added to my file and I will be hearing from them soon. So I asked, how long will it take...apparently I have to give them 20 working days. That's all folks!!

Thanks Wessless, i guess this also depends on the VO or the one who works on it , and their maximum turnaround is 20 working days.

Do they again give 60days to submit the passport after their turn aroung time 20days or it will be only 40 days?

It's almost 2 weeks for me now...nothing yet

I am planning to wait until 20th March (20 working days from my initial email on 20th February). If I don't get any reply by then, I will send passports to Ottawa using DHL and use my friend's address in USA for passport return.

Just wondering, if I send my passport to Ottawa, and then receive request for stamping at local visa office in Australia, is it going to be a problem? Can they still print the visa in Ottawa after organizing visa printing in Australia?

Two weeks since I e-mailed them. I think I should start looking at options to send passport to Ottawa.
