Visa Rejection

okay,, i applied on 15th july and visa was rejected :

below is the profile :

Ielts - 6.5 overall and no less than 6 in each module

hold a bachelors degree in commerce

details :

1st year = 66%

2nd year = 65%

3rd year = 77.6%

10+2 = 61%

10 = 67.8%

No backlogs at all ,,,


Rejection reason : Other : Given low IELTS scores and low academic scores, i am not satisfied that applicant is a genuine student with sufficient capacity to undertake successfully intended course of study.


can anyone help with this ?? any suggestions ?? shall i re apply, as they stated low academic scores

I guess ur reasons for academic are nt on clear grounds!
U hav 60+ marks in all the three years, hw can they reject.
People get marks with low academic scores too.

that is the only reason on rejection letter,,,

i don't know what to do next....


if it is my academic scores, it means i can't re apply, as there will be no improvement in academic scores...


and i always thot i have fulfilled IELTS requirement...

but i think reason on the letter is pretty much clear itself..

yea i read this,,, but i think he did not get "low academic scores reason"


well,, my course was advanced financing diploma... it could be that course was not correct, but the reason given was "low IELTS scores and low academic scores"


i can definitely work on my IELTS scores to improve them, but how am i supposed to improve my academic scores ??? :'(

I think it's the definetely the course moreover business courses do require good IELTS score. In the mean time go for CAIPS. Improve IELTS score, change your course to Post grad and get that bonafide certificate from college, show some ties to your home that you'll come back after completion of your studies.

bonafide certificate ??

from indian college ?? but IELTS score do match the requirement.

I sent you the link of the person who got bonafide certificate from college. Ask him how to get that certificate. Contact him about the other details too.

If you're sure, then re apply again with necessary changes.

i think.VO ONLY WANTS TO BE SATISFIED THAT U WILL LEAVE CANADA AFTER UR STUDY... THEY JUST MAKE THESE REASONS WHICH ARE NOT LOGICAL...U MUST APPLY AGAIN WITH STRONG SOP...

applied for adv financing diploma,,,

NO - no backlogs at all,,,

my concern is - if my scores are low for an advanced diploma, will they be sufficient for pg course ???

there is something missing in ur profile ..have u applied for visa before? u should apply for CAIPS notes to get exact reason
