I applied for Canada visa with Project Management course, for Sept. 2012 in Centennial College under SPP on 1st July, 2012 n in next 7 days I got rejected with the reason that:
You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay because:
your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of; your qualifications, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other educational opportunities available in India or Canada, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans.

10th-87%
12th-80% (PCM)
I completed my B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics in May 2011 with 64% and have 1 year gap due to medical reasons as I had a knee surgery. I even showed all my supporting medical docs and no work ex. I have scored 8 bands in IELTS.
I did pay the 1st installment to the college from my funds, I took a loan from Bank for Rs. 13 Lacs. From that loan I disbursed another $1800 CAD to the college and got the disbursement letter from the bank which I attached in my VISA file. I even showed proper funds in my parents accounts (2 Lacs) with ITR's of my mom n dad attached in the file n even attached their bank balance certificates but I still got rejected.

I have changed my course to 1 year PG diploma course in HUMBER COLLEGE for WIRELESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS as it is very much related to my previous studies.

So, I want to know that what are the chances of getting visa approval for that course? I changed my consultant. My new consultant advised me to change the course and said that this time we will show a loan for Rs. 13 Lacs and pay full 1 year fees from that loan.

And I know that with 1 year wireless telecommunications course, I will get only 1 year work permit. So when the first course ends, can I apply for another 1 year PG diploma in HUMBER college for PROJECT MANAGEMENT, as instead of applying for a work permit after my first course ends I will apply for the PROJECT MANAGEMENT course and then apply for study permit with the offer letter in hand.
Are the chances of getting the study permit extension more when you are already in Canada and do you get the study permit extension easily for the second PG diploma course?

And after completion of 2 one year PG diplomas mentioned above, will I later get 3 years work permit or not?

Please let me know that if I am on the right track.

hey,,,, I have almost the same story.. I can answer only to one of your questions regarding getting a work permit.

You will get only 2 years work permit if you choose two programs each having 1 year duration. If you choose a 2 year program, then u will get 3 year work permit.

As you stated you changed your consultant ,i suggest you again to change ,as your new consultant is giving you wrong choice of college..(Humber college )..reputation of this college is not upto the mark..so choose your college wisely..
Secondly after paying your first year fee, show the remaining $CDN 10000 by GIC..
This will surely increase the chance of VISA for you..
Rest depends on luck..
Good luck...

what you need to do is make a statement of purpose in which you explain the VO why do you want to study in Canada and what are the reasons that you will not stay back in Canada after the completion of your studies....reasons include job prospects in india with the reference to some job postings to show that there is actually scope in india after your studies, your parents and your family, and why do you want to do the program that you want to do...make reference to the course curriculum of the program and relate them to the study you have already done...include the documentation...show them that you really thought about this and you are serious about it....research about the college and include in your letter why you choose that college only...make reference to professors and studies undertaken by the college for your program...
