I applied for study visa on 27th May.
Going to Ryerson University for Computer Engineering.
Have Done A Levels with A A B and O Levels with A* A A A A B.
My IELTS Band is 7.5 with 7 minimum.
The refusal stated the following:

-You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:
Purpose of visit

+Not given parents employment letter

+Not given transcripts.

I applied online and I think I missed out the transcripts and employment letter to upload, but the "PURPOSE OF VISIT" part confuses me.
Im planning to reapply again as soon as possible, please help me with what to do with "PURPOSE OF VISIT". I have no property in my name(only 18 atm) but my parents do. Do I provide that and anything else? Thanks

Then you should not be surprised with refusal, right?

SOP is Statement of Purpose, detailed letter regarding your why you choose Canada, why the university you applying to ? why the course you have taken? your background ? why do you best fit into the course and telling them that you will come back to your homecountry after finishing the course .

Did they mention the absence of employment letters and transcript or is it your own guess as to why you were refused?

And you have plenty of time to apply again because processing times for Saudi Arabia aren't very long

They mentioned them. Yeah I will apply ASAP, and this time on paper so can be guided further.

Hi I got the same exact reasons as reason984flood;
i understood that I have to provide my father's letter of employment, but, I cant understand what transcripts I had to upload and where, because on my document checklist, there was no such option.
Thirdly, I wrote a strong SOP, stating why I want to come to canada, and why I chose it, but then also they said that i didn't mention my purpose of visit.

I am planning to apply again for a study permit from Saudi Arabia, should I apply using the paper based version or th eonline version.

this time on paper so can be guided further.

it will take much longer. You have already applied once so you have to understand the process.

yea, it could be tricky when applying online BUT you will have a slot there to attach a "Letter of explanation" form your computer
.
ANYTHING that you think should be attached to your online application should be in that file.
Just remember that everything have to be in single file (multi- pages) (transcript, SOP - if no a separate slot for it there. Also, for example: your parents financial statements AND their affidavit of support).

So scan all the papers you do not have a separate slot for in online application into single MULTI-pages file, and attach that file there.

What is your program of choice? A bachelor degree?
How old are you? Do you have only a High school certificate?

And you could upload anything you think could be useful.

My program of choice is BS in Engineering, i am 17 years old; and yes I have not done any post secondary courses.

Then upload your papers for your High school- the certificate and transcript with marks to show you were an excellent student.

Do not forget about SOP.
