Visa Refusal

I applied for a study permit online along with a multiple entry visa for my mother from the same GC Key account on June 6. Today, I got a refusal letter that was adressed for my mom and said that her visa had been denied and the application was now closed. the letter contained nothing about my permit. However, since we both applied together (appointing me as the representative), does that mean my permit has been refused too? Should I apply again?

Where did you apply?

Technically you can not apply for a visit visa for your mother and study permit on the same application. Your online CIC portal should show you two different applications.

well on the online CIC portalapplication, it asked if any family members were coming with me and i checked yes. so it gave me a section which had forms to fill for my mother. this was all in the same application.

Ok. now I get it. Filled as dependent. Where did you file? Islamabad? Delhi?

Does the CIC online not give any indications? Did you ever get a medical request?

Delhi. Nope, no indication whatsoever! That's why I am confused as to should I apply again?

you are right though. They were two applications now that you mention it as the appication numbers are different for the two visas.
