Hi there,
My name is Sahil Shukla
I will be precise about my concern
My profile:
CBSE Delhi 12th passout from India with 64% in Non Medical
Physics- 58
Chemistry- 59
Maths- 54
English- 71
Physical education- 78
------------------------------------------------------------------
CBSE 10th 72% here maths score was 63
In financials I mentioned approx. near to 12 lacs liquid including some amount out of it in FDs. Apart from that profile was SDS.

College with 2 year diploma program was George Brown Casa Loma Campus in Toronto, Ontario Canada. Computer Systems Technician was the program chosen and my visa got refused for the 1st time on 22 July 2022 and now currently the thing is that I've applied for 2 different colleges after requesting for the withdrawal from the previous college and with the new different programs this time which are Office administration executive and general arts and science just today but now I'm doubtful that if changing the program and college will create any problem.
Note: Reason for changing program and college was the marks in maths in 12th which was 54 according to the consultant this is less as minimum requirement for most of the colleges in canada especially for if one is selecting programs related to computers, engineering, IT and related to that few others; Maths is the main subject for which the VO looks for one's grades in previous qualification. So my consultant suggested to change the program to the one which is not at all linked with mathematics so it doesn't creates the problem as for such all other programs my maths grades will be creating the refusal of visa concern again and again.

Now my question is do I'm proceeding right? This second time I do not want to leave any instance atleast from my side that I feel afterward that because of this thing my visa got refused. I really request you please whosoever is reading this very long thread till now firstly so much thank you I am really so worried. Please help me out with my concerns cleared as soon as possible by replying it would really thankful to you

Order GCMS notes for full reasons. What were reasons? What is new program (general arts?) and where? If general arts then how will lead to career goals and justify costs of Canadian education.

First of all, there is no visa refusal WITHOUT Reason. There should be a reason before we comment based on your profile

Request GCMS notes to review the VO's comments about his / her decision. Note that when I requested my GCMS notes last year, they took around two months to arrive. Good luck!

Incorrect. JR cases such as Taiwo v. Canada, Raymundo v. Canada, Omijie v. Canada, Aghaalikhani v. Canada are only few to prove that the assesment techniques of these officers are indeed questionable.

Misunderstood my comment and you took it out of context. In Taiwo v Canada there was a question of reasonableness of proposed study, but OP posted on threat tittled is “Refusal with no specific reason”. All cases you mentioned, officers refused with reasons, there is no refusal without reasons on refusal letter. Thats my point. We need to know the reasons why

Most of the times, these "reasons" were unjustified and based on mere assumptions of the VO involved.

According to you and if you chose to “personalize”. To me, those are reasons to begin to challenge Visa officer decision
Is that so? I wonder why people go through the additional trouble of getting GCMS notes when apparently the generic template based reasons provides a "crystal clear" picture of the refusal.

I insist there should be reasons on refusal letter. Thank you

Switching programs after refusal is just asking for another one. This denotes inconsistency in your study plan and questions your motive for temporarily visiting Canada. I have seen multiple people get approved with low grades. It all depends on your luck and how well you can elaborate your reasoning. You should have stuck to your initial program of choice.

I have ordered Caips notes just today by paying CAD 120 according to consultant reason behind my refusal is the low marks in maths i.e. 54 according to him visa officers currently looking for the small to smallest of reason for which they can refuse the visa for study permit because they have millions of pending files and sometimes there target of providing visa gets completed so they can't provide any more visas if they are seeing even any single point to refuse the visa file of someone.
Consultant this time has chosen two programs Office administration executive and general arts and science as the second preference like same for 2 colleges Mohawk College, Hamilton, Ontario and St. Lawrence College, Kingston, Ontario. Now I have researched the consultant I've chosen are the SOP experts and the gcms notes will take time offcourse...how much nobody knows. But please tell as I don't want to waste time anymore and also do not want to leave 0.1% chance in my whole visa file and profile so that I don't face difficulty this time to get the visa for Jan Intake 2023. But if Caips notes doesn't arrives till the time I've to pay the fees too for college and prepare my file asap to lodge the visa again by the start of sept. Max. What are your suggestions please reply!!!!

But if according to consultant my marks in 12th standard maths is 54 which are a bit less (I agree visas have arrived for even lowest of grades students) So acc. To my consultant I have to change the program to the one which is not so much linked with maths so that my visa doesn't gets refused for the same reason again. I am also worried about that intentions point as vo will see previously what was my profile and now what is it. But if that's the only option what can I do
