I wouldn't be able to share my experience here as I don't work with IRCC and therefore don't have complete information about the review process :) I also didn't order GCMS notes, so I don't have recorded information about the stages of review that my file went through .

That being said, the SUPPOSED stage at which your file is moved to the LVO is after your eligibility recommendation is made - once it gets to the LVO, the eligibility recommendation is supposedly reviewed and approved/rejected, and your security review (background check) is conducted. My understanding of the process is that your NOC Code would be reviewed during eligibility (although not sure if it is also verified in eligibility, or if this is done in the Security (the Background Check) assessment. Either way, review of your NOC Code would supposedly be done before the file gets to the LVO, and be approved after getting to the LVO.

But review of NOC Code wouldn't be the 'trigger' to move the file to the LVO, as there are many more things that happen during the eligibility review than just NOC Code review.
Thank you very much for your comments. I just wanted to get some idea.

My file got transferred to LVO around Sep 22nd. I saw several posts that says when it goes to LVO then the rejection chances are very less. I know whatever you said not guaranteed because you don't work there. Just wanted to get some idea, and your comments at least gave me some idea about the NOC checking. I hope they're done with NOC verification and sent this to LVO. I saw some rejection because of incorrect NOC, so I got scared a little bit.

Let's see what happens :)

Thanks again :)

Ah, context! If you've gotten this far, there's probably no need for you to be too concerned! I think this forum, while very, very helpful, gets us a little unnecessarily freaked out sometimes - the truth is that that chances of rejection actually appear to be fairly low (I think I saw that only 2 or 3% of files get rejected, but I can't remember where I saw that or if I'm remembering the numbers correctly). As long as you were honest in your application, and fairly thorough in your research to ensure all of your documents were complete, you probably don't need to spend too much time worrying (although I know it's hard not to :) )

Yes, you're correct. I can't even remember where I saw those posts, but i tried my best to provide all the documents, noc explanation and was being honest too.

Freaking out is obvious, can't help it lol.
I'm currently in ip2 (I guess) with no add docs required and we are processing your bgc wordings.

I just hope everything goes well with my file.

Thanks for your help ☺

I am based in South Korea, is my LVO going to be Manilla? Or the embassy in Korea?
I noticed that Manilla takes forever to process the application!
I'm based in Japan and CIC said my application was transferred to Manila VO.

Is it true that Manila VO takes much more time than other VOs?
What is your time line?
I couldn't find much information/feedbacks online about Manila processing times. Where did you read that?

My timeline:
AOR - 11 August
Medicals passed - 23 August
IP1 - 23 August
ADR - 24 August (request), 31 August (submitted)
Docs status changed to "we do not need additional documents" = 11 October

I just noticed this from reading this thread: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/manila-visa-office-applicants-lets-connect-here.520915/page-3#post-6457664

I couldnt get any solid feedback though
