Visa office for FSW2014 - London or Amman?

Hi King_s sorry for the late reply. Yes I am Egyptian living in KSA. So I am thinking of applying through Cairo Visa Office. This is mainly for two reasons:

1. I heard it is faster than London VO
2. If I apply through London I have to provide proof of my admission in KSA, my Iqama in this case. In my Iqama, the profession is "Translator" while I am applying under 1123. So I don't want to have unnecessary confusion with the officer.

So what do you think?

I agree, avoid this confusion. Don't give any reason for CIC to question anything.

In my opinion, Cairo would be less headache when it comes to Job Designation, as the whole Saudi Iqama (Work Permit) won't be checked at all. So, the visa officer in Cairo will not look at your profession in the Iqama.

Moreover, Cairo is definitely faster than London VO. However, given the unstable political situation in Egypt for past couple of years, I expect the number of applications towards Cairo VO will increase, but won't get any closer to London. London VO is overwhelmed, see the spreadsheet for more details.
