Visa extension

Hello, I got married here in Canada with a Canadian citizen, we made the papers for the sponsorship was in October of this year but we have not had an answer if my application is being reviewed or not, seeing that my status here was already going to expire I sent a visa extension, I have not received a response either, I sent the visa extension request for the sponsorship, now my question is if I will get to reject the visa extension. I have to leave Canada immediately, what will happen to my sponsorship?

How did you apply for sponsorship? Inland or outland? If inland, did you include an open work permit with the application?

I'm here in Canada, and I did not ask for a work permit because I do not speak English

I understand that you are in Canada - but did you apply inland or outland? Both are possible from inside of Canada.

If you applied inland, you should have included a work permit even if you had no plans to work since this would have allowed you to remain in Canada until your application was approved.
