Call them mid night around 2:00 am india time ..

Holding time is long .. they keep u hold . and than representative will answer secondly answer will be same what is mention on website .. they dont think of helping student and process it asap .. they will say that it will take such such business days ..

Damn we can read from website .. what is the thing u can do to hlep student because its soctia put the deadline of 21st nov .. it means they are entitle to clear all the files before the deadline of visa submiting file ..

Its so wierd ..

You can call Scotia Bank on 0008001008747...this is a toll free number. Call between 7:30 pm to 4:00 am(Indian Time). Simply ask them the satus of your gic..they'll just ask for your passport number, full name and birthdate.

There is no such thing like guaranted refusal after deadline . Even me and my friend got visa 5 days after deadline . You can check my posts .. You will see it there ...

It all depends on your profile until 7 december because after that they surely gonna refuse you .

Thats the real rule .. I have also researched about it alot during my time . It says you have to apply 3-4 weeks before your classes start . So , no accurate 3 weeks .. No accurate 4 weeks ..

You can go for it till 7 december .. Donnt try after that ..

It Depends on your profile and luck until its 7 december .. So donnt wrry

Cn anyone tell me what's the swift copy?? I have read in old posts that you can apply for visa with swift copy of GIC and later submit the gic certificate...plz help me..coz if this is possible then I can make it before the deadline.

Swit copy is that which u will get from Indian bank(from where u transferred the funds) usually after one day of wire transfer. I too Want to know whether we can apply without gic certificate.

You can mail CHC about ur condition and ask them for permission.. Sure they r human also. find out if they can help us.. ??? :

I think u cannot submit in spp without gic i was facing the same issue till today. Called up vfs to check they said if u dont have gic certificate then they will have to put ur file in general category. Now my gic was a mess till today. Paid on 18th and just spok to scotia was happy to hear that they received my funds this morning and will issue gic mail by 28th real relif. But luckily all good today. So stay positive guys.

so it seems that .. investment number they are taking 5 business days and after transfering they are taking around 7 business days ..

hoping to get mine by 8the dec so that i can still launch the file by 9-10th december

Guys pray for me and congo to all .. dont worry they might get it done for u earlier one day so u can catch 1st if now nothing to worry put file on 2nd no problem they will accept it ..

by god grace i think u should recieved by 28th so taht u can file on 1st dec if not than 1st dec definetly should rec and 2nd u can submit ..

Check on 27 the mid night .. request them bla bla bla .

hello veer...i transfrd gic fees on 21 nvmbr..n accrdng to coments i saw here,i think i ll not get gic crtfct before 1st dec..
unfrtnatly perhaps i ll have to.apply visa aftr 1st..on 2or 3 dec..r u sure visa file can be apllied till 7 dec?
