Visa aproved finally Airline transit visa help

My visa got approved so finally i am planning to buy a airline ticket but i did inquires and no one knows about transit visa

If i am booking a jet airways flight from mumbai to toronto there is always a stop in london or Amsterdam for 4 hours do i need a transit visa if i dont want to leave the airport?

Even the jet Airways staff is unable to provide information on this?

If the airport is same you don’t need it. If your airport gets changed in london then you might need it.
