Visa approved but college discontinued the course! please help!

Hey all,

First of all I want to thank all of you for supporting me for solving my doubts and helping me for visa process! Now getting back to the topic. My visa approved on 22nd December and I got to know that Georgian college discontinued the course that I selected. They offered me to move to the other course but the problem was it was undergraduate course. So I decided to stay in India till next September since my visa expires on March 2017.

Now, is there any possibility that I can get admission to any university? and if yes, then would there be any problem in my Immigration process at airpot?

12th-57%
B.tech in Information Technology - 7.35 CGPA
IELTS- 6.5 overall(not less than 6 in any module).
Visa Issued on 22/12/2014.
Visa Expires on 31/03/2017.

i read some of the students here on the forum saying that they will get the institute changed once they land in Canada. i think you can also do that.

Yup! I know that but the thing is there isn't any relevant course for dec intake!

Nope! I've checked each nd every college. That's why I've decided to stay till september since sep intake has too many choices ! But I'm worried about immegration process

i think universities are now taking applications for Sep. 2015 intake. i am not sure about the colleges though i think they also give admission as soon as they receive applications. i think you should secure the admission asap and then send the new acceptance letter to VO. it is just what i think. i hope someone on the forum with a better understanding of the procedure would answer.

I am in Canada but unfortunately I could not get in the college because I don't have ielts 6.0 band, now I want to go back home and want to come back later when I willl get 6.0 band in ielts test.


I am too much worried about question when they ask me to return back Canada at port of entry.
I am planning to go back home very soon.

Please if you have heard or have seen someone has similar situation, please tell me what will be possible way what are the things I needed to come back canada what documents and any extra letter from college should I need for it.


Please kindly help me seior members. I will be very thankful to you.
