If you had applied online, then you would have gotten your approval letter online, so no panic while waiting for passport.

It looks like if you apply under the SPP using the online application, it's faster. Otherwise, I'm not sure how long it takes. I applied online under the SPP and it was very fast.maver12 said:hey guys, is there anyone here who applied ONLINE for study permit (general) and has got visa?

According to your profile, you applied under the general before and now under the SPP and all resulted in refusal. Now you can't apply under the SPP anymore. I will advise that why don't you consider other countries for your program: USA, UK, Germany, Singapore, Australia, Sweden, Norway or New Zealand? Sometime, it might work out well at another place and afterwards you can apply again to Canada, may be for Phd or other programs. I reapplied in general as you cannot apply in SPP once rejected under any method. I will educate myself, all the information in available in books, and will seek a job(work visa) now based on my current qualification and skills.I do not have much time I am already going to be 29 and getting some grey hair, studies seems like a long shot now.
