I have called the VISA office in Delhi , they tell you to check their website cic.gc.ca , I have tried email as well but no response yet.

Also,you have to write a letter to your college about your delay...if you want to deferal your admission for next session(if you have longer delay in visa).then you have to confirm it 10 days before your classes started...

I got SMS and email from VFS that passport has been released today but no visa in email? Doesnt look so positive does it?

If you've already submitted your medical report up-front or you've received request for medical examination and you've done so, then no need to panic as you might have been given visa. However, if you didn't in any of the two cases then get your fingers crossed!!

I had submitted my medicals along with the application.
