I also want to share my experience with GIC. I have wrost experience with scotia bank,they took 19 working days to give me GIC certificate,therefore i have only option to defer my admission may to sept. inatke because without GIC it is not possible to apply for visa under SPP. You are lucky man...

Also,you have to write a letter to your college about your delay...if you want to deferal your admission for next session(if you have longer delay in visa).then you have to confirm it 10 days before your classes started...
