I live in Hamilton. So I was instructed to send it to Hamilton. But the initial passport request was for Ottawa

I'm still waiting for the card.
And I have just noticed the contradictions in the expiry dates of PR
The letter of CoPR states You can use this letter for one year and it must be accompanied by a travel document or a federal/provincial/territorial identity document. The permanent resident card is required after this one-year period
Meanwhile the expiry date of the same document which I see on my account in GCKey says 12-December-2020
What can it mean?
Sort of. After receiving CoPR from the landing officer, you need to follow the instructions he or she sent you to apply for a PR card.

Actually there was no word about virtual landing in email or CoPR. Just the instruction to send the photos again.
I don't understand why the expiry dates of the same document (CoPR) differs - in the letter itself and in GCKey
I believe the expiry date on your GCKey is the date by which you have to travel to Canada and land

I had to queue for virtual landing -which means I do not need to cross the border
Relax =) They will send an email if it was them =)

Thank you for your reply. I'm really lost
about the current situation. Some people on the bbs have been waiting for virtual landing for 5 months, while others have received them even before they passport returned. I really don't know what the criteria are.

Timeline: approx 1,5 month between the passport request and confirmation of PR

I got this message from Canada visa office Accra Ghana..
Please be advised that your application is still in queue for review. No further action is required by you at this moment. You will be contacted once a decision is made...
And my application is almost 19 months now I have done everything including medical outland application I'm not in Canada....my medical will be 1yr nest month 19 November....
Please some one should explain to me better.... I'm tired
