I got email 20 days ago subject Virtual Citizenship Ceremony Expression of Interest.
We are reaching out to inquire if you would be interested and available to participate in a virtual citizenship ceremony. No date specified.
I replied yes. Since then no contact. Any one has experienced the same?
Mine was not the exact situation like your's.
I too got an email inquiring about my availability and ability to take a virtual oath 3 weeks later and I confirmed back immediately. The next day got the ceremony invite. After two weeks of the initial email, I get another mail asking to join a shorter zoom meeting 2 days before the oath date to get my ID verified. After my ceremony I sent them my signed oath form along with the photos of my destroyed PR card. 4 days after that, they completed my case and mailed my certificate that reached me after a week. So in short, IRCC Niagara Falls works a bit slower than other centers where people have reported of getting an oath scheduled for the immediate next week from receiving the call/email from their processing office as well as receiving their certificate within a week of their oath date.
You are all set just wait and you will sail through too.
All the best.
