Hi all. I am starting a new thread. Based on my recent posts and senior replies and PM, I have made certain assumptions on this issue. Please help me find out which of these assumptions are not correct. Also, suggest which option I should take. Your input is valuable to me. Please help.

Background:
I became PR on 15 Jan 2015. I am in my home country at present.

My Canadian visit details:
15 Jan 2015 to 26 Feb 2015=43 Days
22 June 2017 to 28 Oct 2017=129 Days
05 Jan 2018 to 25 Mar 2018=80 Days

Spouse and Kids[4 years old and 6 years old] Details:
15 Jan 2015 to 26 Feb 2015 = 43 Days
07 Oct 2017 to 28 Oct 2017 =22 Days
15 Jan 2018 to 25 Mar 2018=70 Days

By this calculation to meet 730 RO, I need to enter on or before 23rd Sep 2018 and my wife & kids on or before 29th May 2018.

Options available:

Option 1
. My wife will go to Canada on or before 29th May 2018 and I and kids will go to Canada on or before 23rd Sep 2018.
Pros: My wife may find work in that time before I and kids reach there, so there will be less burden on us.
Cons: kids will miss 730 RO by 3 to 3.5 months.
Assumptions:
1. there is very little chance of kids being reported when both parents meet RO and only kids miss it.
2. Even if they report kids they need not leave Canada. We can appeal and there is a high chance of winning an appeal for kids.

Option 2. My wife and kids will go to Canada on or before 29th May 2018 and I will go to Canada on or before 23rd Sep 2018.
Pros: Nobody miss RO.
Cons: It will be difficult for my wife to settle and find work with two small kids.
Assumptions: This is 100% safe for saving PR point of view.

Option 3. All of us go to Canada on or before 23rd Sep 2018.
Pros: I will be there with them. Wife need not handle everything alone.
Cons: Wife and kids will miss RO by 3.5 months. There will be pressure on us to find work as there will be no income source. Funds will be stretched to support the family of 4 there.
Assumptions:
1. Our recent return from Canada, i.e 25 March 2018, will help us at the airport. They will not look too deeply and will not calculate that my wife and kids are missing RO.
2. The longer validity of our PR card[Feb 2020] at the time of landing i.e Sep 2018[ almost one year and 3 months] will help us at the airport. They will not look too deeply and will not calculate that my wife and kids are missing RO.
3. As they miss RO by 3 months only, they will be lenient and may not report us.
4. If we are not reported at the airport then we are safe considering we complete 730 days without leaving Canada.
5. When we apply for PR renewal after completing 730 days then CIC will not create trouble for not completing 730 days in first 5 years of landing and will only consider last 5 years from the date of PR renewal application submission.

Thanks!

As I mentioned in the other post of yours, I don't think anyone in this forum will advice you which option you need to take. That is a decision you have to take by yourself. When you have valid PR cards, use the automated border entry at the airports and keeping minimum months from the last visit in March will also help. I know 2-3 persons who was not meeting RO but could get in while they had valid PR cards.
Long story short, you have to decide for yourself.

Also be aware, that once you arrive (especially option 3), you will not be able to leave for a while (at least until mid of 2020).

As mentioned above, nobody can decide what option is best for you. Ultimately you are the one who chose to cut it so close with your residency obligation when you've had the ability to settle in Canada since 2015. As such, it was your own responsibility to make use of the opportunity and ensure that you and your family would be able to meet these requirements.

Either way you look at it, if your wife and children don't return to Canada by May 29, and you don't return by Sep 23, then you will have failed to meet the residency obligation and steps could be taken to revoke your status. This could mean a lengthy and potentially costly appeals process, and uncertainty for quite a while during the process.

If you want to maintain your PR status and give yourself peace of mind, come to Canada as soon as possible and make sure you can meet the residency obligation. The status was given to you so that you could become settled in Canada and contribute to Canadian society. In return, Canada has asked that you spend at least 40% of your time in a rolling 5-year period in the country (expecting you to live, work, pay taxes, etc). Now it's time for you to hold up your end of the deal.

I think the earlier all of you come the better. After you build solid residency tie in Canada, for some emergency you still good enough to leave the country shortly (but need to keep the tie). Just don't go too far.

Why must your wife work? Couldn't you support them while you are working outside the country? Satellite families are very common in Canada. Your wife can just look after the children at home. She may even work at home. Besides, why would they difficult to settle without you in Canada? I often seen mothers bringing two children either strollers or walk hand by hand at parks and shopping malls. If your wife don't drive, tell her to settle somewhere with a shopping mall, schools and parks nearby.
