Hi fellow Vienna applicants, its been a while since i posted on the forum. Last time they requested documents was on May 8th 2018, where they requested a new copy of a dutch police certificate, updated Schedule A, RCMP check and proof that i have had continued contact with my wife. I uploaded all that except the RCMP a few weeks later and have since waited for my RCMP check to come in the mail, which i received on monday and uploaded through the IRCC webform. They mailed me back that they forwarded it to Vienna VO the next day. Now im wondering if i need to do another medical before they finish processing my application since i did the last one more than 6 months ago? Also, does anyone know how long it will take them to finish the background check now that they have all my documents? I applied back in May 2017 so i do think its about time they finish this up.

Hi guys
I would like to ask about the passport request .. 1 week ago my family & i have been asked for submitting our passport's
& 2 photo's for each applicant.
The problem here is my step brother's
& their mom have an invalid passports.
It will be a little bit hard to renew these passports & it will take a lot of time as I learned lately .

I have heard about some kind of a 1 time use Visa that the government can provide in this kind of cases.

Please enlighten me if i was wrong
I really appreciate your help & the important information that you may share it

Hi guys

Yeah I gotta say that this feels so bad when you get a passport request & can't send your family passports just because they are invalid .. so i recommend if you still have time to try to renew them.
About your opinion yes I have the same idea so i will contact them by email & see what can we do about this unnecessary problem.
I will compose the email & try to ask them about this 1 time use Visa.

2 days ago I have received an passport request & i am totally confused about it so i will copy paste here the first few sentences from it so maybe some of you guys enlighten my way

(This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order to complete the processing of your application, your passport and the documents listed below are required.)
They need 2 photos for each applicant
So does this a good sign?

It's funny, we're once again in the same situation! We're now in Hamilton, and like you I know they read my emails because they changed my address recently when I asked them to!

Thanks, it has been a long wait indeed. I see you already got approved a while back and are moving soon. May i ask what company you used to ship your belongings to Canada? And what method did you use to send your passport to Vienna?
