Same thing was in our notes. But I read in the GCMS guides on this forum that if you see Eligibility: Not Started it may actually be a good thing and they have looked at your eligibility already. If they had concerns an agent in Mississauga would have already noted that an additional check would be required by the visa office agent. Apparently they wait to update eligibility to passed until security is completed, then they both show Passed at the same time. This is all from Eagle333’s posts.

Just got pre arrival letter... can someone explain what exatly that means?

No change in gckey and ecas... just message

It means good news is on the way! I got the Pre-Arrival email a couple of weeks before I got Decision Made in ECAS. It means you're at the end of your journey so congrats!

Thanks. I just checked GCKey today and they changed background check to "your background check is in progress", it wasnt when i last checked a few days ago. Eligibility is still in progress as well it says. I hope things will finally move along now. And thank you again for your encouraging words.

Lets hope. I plan to visit Canada again next month so if there is no progress i might visit the local MP with my wife. Most applications seem to be processed within the 12 month period they set themselves so next month will already be outside that time limit, they showed that they can process apps fast with all the PPR's from Vienna lately.

Hi,
I saw that a few people got COPR and I'm happy for them!
Today we received the letter - invitation to pre-arrival services, I also checked GCKey and the background check status changed. When I checked ECAS it says decision made! I guess we have to wait and see?

The timeline of the application is as follows:

AOR1: January 13 2018
Schedule A Uploaded: January 22, 2018
AOR2: February 6, 2018
BG Check in Progress: May 5, 2018
Interview: Not requested
DM: May 7, 2018
PPR:
PPR Docs Mailed:
COPR Received:
Landed:

I'm from Canada sponsoring my spouse who lives in Germany. Do you know what comes next? Is this good news?

Thank you and good luck to everyone

Vienna just emailed me and they want a new Dutch police certificate, they want me to resend schedule A and fill in my activities since i was 18 years old and they want me to send in a RCMP criminality check. All within 30 days. Does anyone know where i can get fingerprinted for the RCMP check in The Netherlands or surrounding countries?

I got mine done in Canada when I was there, but a google search led me to this:

@rjhicks, my GCKey status also changed to approved last week. We must be close ...

I didn't get any replies from Vienna, but they must read the e-mails as they updated my mailing address shown in ECAS as requested in the mail.
We arrived in Vancouver last Saturday but unfortunately I couldn't do the landing procedure without the CoPR letter.

Hi Everyone!
I have just joined this forum.
For those of you that live in Canada and have sponsored your spouse from Germany. Could you please indicate if you have applied for a German civil marriage certificate, and have you received and submitted one to Vienna office. If yes, could you please mention how long did it take you to apply and get one issued.
If you have not applied for German marriage certificate then how did you proceed that have convinced Vienna office to process your application. I would really appreciate your feedback and thank you!

Hi, my husband and I had both our civil and church wedding in German and we had the civil wedding certificate which was issued when we got married. We had this translated and certified and submitted it with our application. Unfortunately our application has passed the one year mark and we are being as patient as we can until we hear back from them. We submitted everything as requested from them and now I am asking my MP to look into this matter as there are applicants after us who are being processed (our case is very straight forward). Will let you know when we hear something back.
