@rjhicks I also received a request for 2 passport pictures today. I am from a visa exempt country (Germany) and don't have to send my passport. So I think the photos are the only things which physically need to be sent to Vienna in order to issue the CoPR Letter.

You can't take the pictures at a photo booth as the photographer has to write/stamp their name and address on the back of the picture. Also be careful with the format as it is very different from the normal passport picture format (at least compared to German passport pictures). Best is to bring the picture requirements to a photographer.

Thanks for this - your thoughts are on the same line as mine! Are you 100% sure we won't have to send a passport? I read that somewhere, but wasn't completely sure.

So in theory, these photos get used for my COPR (IMM 5688 I believe) and they'll send that back to me? If so, possibly we're both only a week away from this being finished...

I'm actually in Canada right now and went to a studio yesterday, they knew exactly the size and details of a PR photo so I think we're all good on that front. I sent it digitally yesterday, but was told today it has to be mailed so doing that express post today.

Hey guys they asked me to send a police certificate today.. But I already sent it a few months back. I am getting my husband to go get a new one printed anyway just so we can be on top of things

Has this ever happened to anyone else when they ask for it twice?

Thankfully I've not been asked for it twice, but I know they only treat a police check as valid for 6 months, perhaps it went over this time?

My husband just received his passport back in the mail along with his confirmation of pr form. However, when looking at the form, under personal details it lists my husbands marital status as single.

Further down under sponsor information it lists me as his spouse.

Is this a mistake or is this normal?

It should say MARRIED actually, so you might have to contact the immigration office and advise about this, they might say it’s okay, but better safe than sorry

I called IRCC and they said it should be fine and that he can fill out an amendment form once he arrives in Canada. Other threads say that the border officer at the airport can make that change as well. Just to be on the safe side I did email the Vienna office and am still waiting for a reply.
