I think they also want to check all the information your provided along your application. Such as your address history, travels, no fly list, etc, etc. Let's hope they finalize our application before the Christmas break
Who nows, i mean i my application was received by IRCC on August 3rd, 2016 and then November 10 got the AOR and they started to process my application, and the mean time my with got pregnant, February 16th 2017 got the medicals request did the medicals and they got the results, and in the mean time my wife gave birth so i had to add a new dependent to my application asked the Vienna Office what i needed to send to them they sent me a list of documents, on May 31 i have sent all the documents after 2.5 months they added my newborn to my application.
And in September i sent to them an email asking about the status of my application the same day that they sent me the Medial Request (September 8) for my newborn (my BG Check Status changed to Processing ) did the medical check (september 19th) they got the results next day and to be more precise from September 20th waiting...
