Yeah I know I read somewhere that Vienna adds 6-12 months for an arc application on top of the sponsorship application

My husband sent his ARC appl in the middle of April 2015. Here is our timeline
Sent appl august 2014
Cic requested new form and we were given Oct 2014 as appl received
Appl transfered to vienna Dec 3, 2014
Interview March 2015
Submitted Arc in April 2015
I used to send emails every month to Vienna but all they say is that his application is still under review.
I spoke with my new MP and he told me that in July 2015 Vienna opened an Arc file and according to his information the arc has to be reviewed by Jan 8, 2016 by the immigration program manager and he/she has 30 days to render a decision.
My husband passed the interview, background check and his medicals were extended for another year (originally they expired in July 2015).
In other words since April 2015 his arc file has been sitting there waiting to be reviewed. I am hoping we will have a positive decision the end of February.

What did you say at the court? What was it called? And does an apostol stamp need to be on the documents?

You just go to court and tell them that you need a proof of not having a criminal record, they will issue you the document on official language and you need to translate it on eng...

Hi everyone! I am currently in Canada on a visitor visa and yesterday I received an email from the Vienna office requesting my passport. One of the options in the email was to send my passport to the CPC-Ottawa (if I am "currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months"). This seems like a safer option, rather than staying in Canada while my passport is traveling the world. I was wondering if anyone here has selected this option of sending their passport to Ottawa and if they could share that experience with me.
Thanks in advance.

This is a good question! Anyone the answer to this?
We would like to know as we will apply soon. We might just do the med check in another country as my country of residence (NL) and get the official wedding paper here in Costa Rica. We'll join the forum now :)

4 months and 17 days later and we are all done.
