I agree, If you think the person would understand you better in your Mother Tongue. Send them a private message through the forum board. Thank You, no offense intended.

Not offended :D As I said, I translated her question, hoping someone else would provide more insight. From now on PM it is ;)

Hi everybody,

I am a new member on the forum. Here is our timeline. We are a Hungarian&Canadian couple.

Application sent to Miss... 15th May
SA received... 29th August
Application transfered to Vienna in September.

We haven't got any feedback from Vienna yet.
We are waiting and waiting for 7 months. Very painfull...

I wish " decision made" status for everybody who belongs to Vienna VO... would be an amazing Christmas gift.

Congrats. That was fast like all the other Germans in the last few weeks.

I applied 2013 and I think applicants from 2012 and 2013 had to wait the longest time ever.

I feel all by myself, feeling like I'm the only one going through Vienna!
It would be a good idea for all Vienna applicants to meet in one place (here) :)
So we can share information.. and timelines, yes?

Lets share our wait times here!

Hello glak have you got your VISA

Hi Volobea,
We are also a Canadian-Hungarian couple !
We sent our application to Mississauga in May 2013 and finally after almost 19 months of waiting time, on E-case it says decision made !!!
It would be great to get a passport request before Christmas :)
My advice to others is to start following up frequently with the Vienna office once you are over the given time frame. By the end we were getting answers to our e-mails after one/two days so we could see that someone had finally started working on our application.
The waiting is the most frustrating part, but I really think that Vienna has picked up its pace and they are processing faster. Best of luck ! Kitartás !

Hi Toronto1989,

I am so happy for you guys. What waas wrong? Why didn't they do anything for 19 months? But finally it's over. You deserve it and I am sure you will get the PPR before Christmas.

Well My wish came true too...Just got a call yesterday that they approved our application on Monday, 15th December. They said they sent us a letter with all the information. I am in Canada already and we are going back to Hungary tomorrow for Christmas. Hopefully we will get that letter soon and we can go to the beautiful Vienna before we come back. I am sooo happy.

Looks like Vienna is speeding up... I am sure a lot of people will get PPR from Santa today or early next week.

Hi,
Great news for you guys as well !! We are living in Hungary currently, so spending the holidays here as well in Budapest.
I don't think there was a problem, because we were not called in for an interview... I think it was just bad timing. We fell into the period of the strike and as I heard Vienna had a huge backlog for the 2013 cases.
Have a great time in Hungary !! :D

We're a Hungarian Couple too, our Application has been in VO since Oct 15, 2013, sitting in some pile, gathering dust. Like you say we will knock on their door at the 17 month mark. I think there is one other Hungarian couple waiting too.

Since it's 19 months you'll probably have to redo Medical and Police report. I believe the medical timeline is tied in with the COPR usually a year. If no interview, they may ask for Docs (Chats, Pix etc) to say what you have been doing, as a couple since May 2013.....Hopefully we will all get done in the next month or two.....Good Luck and keep us posted, on your progress; Toronto1989
