TRV stands for Temporary Resident Visa. It's basically a tourist visa for those who require a visa to enter Canada.alekgalorini said:Hi little apple, what is TRV??
Congrats! What's the validity of your visa and COPR? I don't remember if you had to do a re-med or not.Avissa said:I got my passport back and already bought my ticket for next Friday ;D
Thank you! And welcome!! In my email I told them which day/date I mailed out the police certificate and asked them if they could please let me know if/when they received it as I wanted to make sure it didnt get lost in the mail and it arrived safely.nadinam said:Hi there I have been following this forum for a while now but never posted...but I do have a question and was hoping you could help me! I got a police certificate re-do request on october 15th and a medical request re-do on october 16th...I still have not heard back from them on whether they received the police record my husband sent...I was just wondering what you said in your email when you asked whether they received your police criminality check, and what email did you send it to? My congratulations on the copr! And thank you in advance for your help

I replied to the email address from which they send out an email requesting additional docs.
That email address is:
VIENNIMMIGRATION @ international.gc.ca
(Without the spaces, for some reason I cannot post it without the spaces)
Make sure you put your application number and/or UCI in the email as well.
Good luck!!!

hi there! well I can tell you that the average waiting time right now is awful, 17 months. however some people have been getting their COPR's faster than the time listed on CIC's website. I'm still waiting, its been 11 months for me and my husband. good luck with everything! I can tell you one thing. this forum will keep you sane. I have been following it the whole time and hearing peoples' stories has helped me get through the wait.EmiliD. said:Hi Can anyone tell me how fast does office in Vienna works ? We waited almost 3 months for SA and got it on Nov 12 from Mississauga. File was transfered same day to Vienna .

You're welcome and thank you! I am already in Canada since the beginning of September. So I guess now the job hunt begins! Good luck on the application. They replied to me the day after I send the email that my application had been accepted! But I didn't have to re-do med. Fingers crossed!nadinam said:THANK YOU SO MUCH!! and good luck starting a new life. you will love canada!

Minicooper said:My COPR also arrived! (In the Netherlands, now just waiting for it to get to Canada where I am already).
The funny thing is, they gave me till 21 October 2015 to enter Canada. This means they extended my medical for more than a year! Crazy!
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the "last entry date" and "original entry date". What do they mean exactly?
Because mine says a date in early 2013 though I arrived in Canada last in September 2014. Do I have to inform anyone about this?
Also, the original entry date is false, as I had a temporary work visa and entered Canada in July 2012. But I actually read that it happens quite often and I can change it after I land? This affects when I can apply for citizenship I believe. Anyone else have any experience with wrong dates on their COPR? Thanks in advance!
Ah ok, thank you! I thought it would affect when I can apply for citizenship. But at least it won't affect my landing!little_apple said:My first and last entry date were wrong as well. Nobody cared and I don't think it really matters
