Hi I am so sorry to hear this. I am surprised that the local news did not mention anything here. I am going to tune in!
Hope none of your families has been anywhere near

Hi Nada,

I did find it really helpful going to my MP, he put in a request for a case update as soon as we hit the "average processing" time on the website. They did tell him more than they have ever told us, such as it was approved in principal and just waiting on background. The second time I asked him to contact him, we heard from Vienna the next day saying Security was done. I think files just sit around there and it helps for them to think they are being watched by your MP. He is also writing a letter to the immigration minister's office stating that Vienna is not meeting their most basic obligations with time frames or with updating clients via the online portal. Doubt it will help, but it's a start.

Hi Nada,

I read your helpful hint, and would so like to take your advice. However, it may be silly, but what does `MP`stand for in this instance, what do you mean.

Thanks
Olaf

Hi Olaf,
MP is the member of parliament. If you are a Canadian or your spouse is he/she can contact them regarding your application. When did you apply?
You can find the MP for your area here: http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseofCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

On there they asked if he was ever convince or arrested in canada and to sign beside the answers.... It took about 45mins for him to come out And meet us after landing...
They explained to him that he will get his PR in the mail in 4-6 weeks and thats it. Pretry simple and fast
Another thing he filled out was the declaration card he got in the plain and thats all :)

Unbelievable disaster, my heart goes out to all the people affected with these floods. Almost no coverage of this here in Canada...it was barely even mentioned. But someone found 40K in an old sofa...that made the news >:( Very disappointing.

Milance, he didnt have anything but 2 suitcases with clothes and books...so i guess the forms that u are talking about are if you are bringing stuff by ship/airplane

Hey friends.

First of al congratulations to everyone who is done vienna. It was about time. My wife was on her interview last wednesday. She also passed. But they didn't accept her police check because they said it's not the right one. So she needs to do a another one before she can get accepted and also. They said they dont have the record of the right of the pernament residence fee which i paid well over a year ago.
What is the fastest way i can get them these papers can I upload my documents online with a case specific inquiry or does it have be with regular mail?

Sincerely Roland.

The police check has to be mailed. Vienna needs the original including a certified translation if it is not in English or French.
Do you still have the receipt of the fees you paid? Must have been a total of $1040.
