Thanks for getting back to me .

What confuses me is that on e-cas, when I log in as a sponsor and click under Permanent Residence (which does show "Application Received"), it says that my husband's application for PR has been received on January 15... which is impossible because Jan. 15 was the date on which our entire package (sponsor application + PR application) arrived in Mississauga to go through that first stage (Mississauga then sent me an AOR stating that they've received our envelope on Jan. 15, and later they sent another one with the approval of the sponsor part, where they added that they sent everything to Vienna on February 21). So, in this case, shouldn't e-cas have been updated to show "received in Vienna on February 2X" or something like that? Oh, and there's absolutely no information on e-cas about medical records, although I know that I've included this with the rest of the papers...

Sorry, I'm just a little confused hehe... really hoping that my stuff didn't get lost... maybe I'll email Vienna and ask for an AOR from them, after all

You can email them and ask for confirmation
When they wrote back to me they said that after application arrives ti vienna they ni longer sed confirmation letters/emails

Also i got emails from re:vien... Up until the application was put in prpcess or when they startrd asking this uear for PC medicals and prppf or ongoing communication (all those they asked from vienna immigration email)


I guess thats how we know they started processing

I think I understand why the three different addresses.. meaning on which stage your application is in.
I have recently e-mailed Vienna and rec'd a message a few days later. The replied on VIENNIMMIGRATION however everything before that was re-vienn.(which was months ago) Could someone tell me when they rec'd a document request was it from VIENNIMMIGRATION???

1. document request: re-vienn.immigration@international.gc.ca (1 week after arrival in Vienna)
2. document request: VIENNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca (10 months after arrival in Vienna)
email that my COPR has been issued: VIENNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca

There are a couple of us left in the 14-15 month waiting period it will be soon. I expect ppr in a couple of weeks ive gutted my bedroom and started renos so its keeping me busy and anxious knowing it will all be over soon

Hello Everyone!!

I am new to this post and have read through alot of what you have all posted and decided to join in the conversation!

About me and my partner who is German! We just recently got Engaged!!
I am Canadian and he is German. We will be getting married in July and sending out our application as soon as we receive the marriage certificate! To be honest, I have done alot of research and read alot of forums and I am nervous about the processing times!

Neither of us have been married before, we are both young (29) and have good jobs and no children. We have been together for nearly a year. I believe/hope that our case is relatively straight forward and will be processed quickly but I am nervous that this will take over a year

I have alot of respect for all of you who have gone through this process and will learn alot from this forum for sure!!

Hi Ani,
welcome to the forum . One thing I would like to say, no matter how long it will take, you will find great support and friends on this forum. It will make your waiting much easier. No one can understand better what you are going through than people in the same situation . Each case is different so you might get lucky and have a faster process than many of us. Your future hubby will however at least be able to visit you as he doesn't need a visa to enter Canada. Most of us were separated from our loved ones for a year or more....so that is a big +
