Thanks for your invitation Messanger. I want to meet you and your wife. Fish and other sea food is my favorite food and I can say that Greece has the best sea food in the world. Barbuni, Kalamari .... Last summer I was few times to Pefkohori. One my family member has house there. Three years ago I was to Polyhrono and 4-5 years ago i was to Ouranoupoli-Atos. I have on mind to visit some islands in Greece such as Skiatos, Corffu, Tasos and I hope soon. If I go soon to Greece, I'll contact you, otherwise we could meet in Canada. Maybe Vienna will surprise me soon. Three weeks have passed from sending fingerpints

We were in Thasos last summer. Peflkohori and Polychrono are both in the first leg (peninsular) of Chalkidiki they are lovely and are mostly preferred from people from the Balkans because of its proximity to the borders. Of course they are also a very popular destination among-st us Greeks. Either way Greece is the absolute summer place with sparkling clear waters and lots of sunshine!

I'm soo annoyed at how long Vienna takes to process applications!

My parents application was transferred to their office on May 6 2012. I emailed them back in January 2013 asking them for an update and they replied 2 months later saying its still in process and within time frame. What does this mean? I looked up the processing times for Vienna and it says 55 months Are we suppose to wait another 4 years its been 5 1/2 years that it has been processed! we started their application back in Nov 2007. I'm so frustrated.

Really sorry for your long wait. I can only imagine how it feels to wait so you can have your parents with you!
I do not understand why parents sponsorship takes this long. I immigrated to Canada in 1980 and my mother came to visit us 6 months later. Of course we come from a visa exempt country but when she came there and we decided she had to stay with us the process to have her as a PR lasted only a couple of months and she never had to leave Canada!

Hi Europe.
Yes you are right. My job has taken me to some of the world's nicest places. The Caribbean, Philippines, Latin America and i believe that our part of the world the Aegean and the Adriatic (where you are from) are amongst them.
Just on the Aegean part of the Mediterranean we have nearly 5000 islands (inhabited or not) and the food is unbelievable.
And the coast of Adriatic in Former Yugoslavia where Montenegro is all the way down to Ionian sea is blessed with crystal clear waters and sandy beaches, plus all the history!

It's too bad we have to leave these paradises (thanks to crisis) but Canada is also the one of the most beautiful countries of the world, full of colors, diversity and safe life!

Soon we'll be joining you in Canada too. my spouse is supposed to have our baby at the end of September so it will be a few months after that! For the time being we are trying to enjoy it as much as it lasts.

I hope I'll go soon to sea near Macedonia. I was to Montenegro few times for a holiday. Also Montenegro has nice sea and beaches. Congratulations finally you're together with your love and can enjoy!!!!

Changing the subject with a question

I had the impression that Vienna always send AOR 2nd stage. So far non from our February thread even January had got one.
As far as we are concerned we cant be sure where our apps are.
Any opinions on this?

aaaahahahaha... You are so right

I flew to Vienna on April 29 on route to the Hungarian border and came back from the same airport on May 7th. To tell you the truth if I had time between to airport arrival and my flight separture I would've gone just to surprise them.
From looking at Vienna applicant spreadsheet status from the past it seems that Vienna was sending 2nd stage AOR's but now what?

Anyways. There's nothing much we can do but just lay on our eggs till the hutch!

I think it's different for everyone. Ecas is super unreliable. I've heard of people landing already and two weeks later the ecas status changes to DM haha.

hmm you r right i hv also heard similar from different colleagues here in this forum.. but still wondering that m on stage 2 since one month and status shows App RECVD now I have only one month left after which Medical will be expired.. Again have to pay too much money for stupid thing....M poor guy ( interms of luck) :d
