COPR!!!!!!!!!!!! My morning couldnt start better
Got an email from Vienna, so happy right now.

we got a request for medical this morning, hubby is doing the exam again tomorrow.

I got the email from Vienna telling that myu husband has to do the medical in Podgorica, i called the doctor again this morning sayin that Vienna told me that she is the one who has to rdo the medical for my husband , and she said i am not workign right now with Embassy i do have some problems, he has to go somewhere else, my husband made an appoitment with another Physical doctor in Tirana which is for the embassy i emailed Vienna to asked is he aloud to do redo the medical there , and not to have any porblems , i dont know what else to do , i am so confuse right now

I've never heard this before. I don't think you are restricted to one specific doctor to do your re-medical as long as you do it with one of CIC certified physicians. my husband is not doing his medical with the same doctor this time around and there are no instructions saying that it has to be done in a specific regions. Does anyone else know anything about this?

I think that the medical can be done everywhere but the doctor must have permission from Canada or all the doctors from the list on Official Government website can make the exam and it will be valid. I made my first medical in Markham, Ontario, Canada. I'm still waiting for further instructions from Vienna. I hope I shouldn't do the second medical.

Dont worry franzi, i never got an email before COPR either Only saw ecase change and then pretty soon had my COPR in the regular mail (1-2 weeks)

Congrats dutchcookies!!!! And mcdutch, seems like your COPR isnt far anymore either! But ya as i said after a long quiet break suddenly people hear from the VO has been for me and others the same way, you think they dont work and nothing happens and then usually many people hear from them at once.

They send an email because of my medical results. Its valid for 2 more weeks and have to land (I guess land or confirm or something) within that time. So if I could not get to Canada before that date I had to redo my medical exam.
Luckily I'm in Canada so waiting for further instructions now. Im happy they think along with the medical thing.
Funny thing is yesterday I wrote to our MP asking to help us. Happy I could email them that it wasn't necessary anymore.

Good luck to you all, seems like they contacted many of us today.

i called CIc , and they told me that anybody can redo the medical but has to be no more than 250 km far from your country , which mean albanian is closer for us , my husband has his appoitment on monday , Vienna emailed me the form what he need to have with him , but does he need to have anything else , another form like
Appendix C , and something else

we are all old cases, I hope for you that you don't end up waiting as long as we did (and still are). According to your AOR you're about 2 months behind us but that doesn't mean anything, you could get your papers very soon regardless. It all depends on how long your background check takes, ours was unfortunately 4 months long. Keep your hopes up!

I hope you get your COPR before medicals expire! We have a redo, God knows how long it's going to take for them to process that.

I think that the doctors send the medical results to Vienna. I still don't have any news from Vienna. I hope next week will be lucky for us.
