Hi Everyone!

I'm sponsoring my wife from Slovakia and we just sent our application to Mississauga yesterday.

What are the milestones and corrospondence I should expect. I see alot of abbreviations in this thread and not sure what they mean, anyone got a link for this?

Wishing everyone good luck and look forward to hanging with you all as we do this process together.

Cheers

Thank you guys!!! I still cannot believe that our journey is almost over... few more days and we'll have that lovely piece of paper for my wife.

I will hang around this thread for next few weeks (time permitting) but feel free to PM me if you have any questions; I will try to help you out.

Cheers and good luck to all of you...

Congratulations for those who can start their life in Canada!!!

I was wondering. Can somebody add me to the Vienna spreadsheet also?

This is my timeline:

Application send: August 4
Application reiceved: August 8
Meds done: July 20
Sponsorship approved: September 10
AOR Vienna: Oktober 1

And this week I just received a mail that a statutory declaration of common law was required + extra proof like bills, current lease, etc. We are working hard to get as much as possible together. We're planning to send it the end of next week to Vienna.

Welcome to this thread :)

You can add yourself to the spreadsheet as it is unlocked/unprotected. You're doing well, it took me 5 months to get my AOR; you'll be done in no time... cheers.

I received an email from VO that COPR will be issued on the very same day when the police certificate and passport are brought to the embassy. Therefore, we're almost done... ;D

Congrats Nole! :)

nole I know what you mean, I was freaking out thought that I wont come till march, and now all that things seem so distant, have other problems, what shall I pack and what will I buy there, prepare job here so my worker can take over for me, seeing my friends and spend time with them before I leave and stuff like that, going to Vienna for COPR and Visa was really ages ago, and when I look back I m thinking it wasnt that bad we survived didnt we :)
