From any and everyones experience, how long after Vienna sends AOR do they request, let's say, additional documents, interview, military booklet, etc? Is it after 2 weeks, 1 month or...? Thanks!

My ecas was changed to 'in process' 5 weeks after I got AOR and than within two weeks after that I received additional doc's request.

Do you mind telling me what addtional information/documents they requested?

It was a missing police certificate from one of the countries where I lived before, a copy of my current pp (the one that I sent with application was expired at the time). Also, from some reason I was asked to (again) provide informations about my employment and address history from august 2010 onward , though they had the same in my original application.

Hi SoonCanada, finally I got internet , :D, I'm in Mississauga, and I love it. And our flight was with JAT airways+British airways. And of course problem was with JAT. But I have to tell you they were great, they got us fast on the other plane so we could catch our connection and they shipped my bags really fast.

Welcome Lucky Rain!!

Question: My spouse does not speak english or french, do the officers at the border speak several languages? Will they call me in to translate? Or will he have to write down all the info and provide the officer with the written info? Thanks!

hm, I`m not sure that they speak any other than English or french, but I believe that they should have someone nearby who could translate. But better safe than sorry just write all the info on the paper. And they will not ask many questions. They just wanted me to sign that COPR in front of them, and they verified if my address is correct. She actually tried to interview me, and started to ask me questions about mu hubby, but the other officer told her that this is just "plane" landing. :D interesting word game :D

Welcome Gruja, and Congrats SoonCanada, when you get to the officer you should tell them that he is "landing" and they will send him to the immigration officer, we were able to go together, my kids were waiting in front and the officer just invited me inside that little booth .I was the main applicant. I was done in about 20 min. They are just normal ppl. not too tough, but not all "honey", just plane professionals.

Hello Vienna group!

I guess I get to officially join you now. I finally got sponsorship approval!! And our file was forwarded to Vienna.

I hope Vienna is fast and efficient.

Good luck to us all!

welcome sabaniga, yes they are pretty fast :)

Anyone, any news? We received AOR from Vienna 3 weeks ago, no news since.... I was hoping to see at least an 'In process' in our ecas...

Just wanted to say hi in the Vienna thread. I only sent off my application on June 1, so it'll be a while until it will get to Vienna. Let's hope the switch from Berlin to Vienna won't cause delays.

Hi guys, since I`m a bit occupied right now I thought I could unlock our tracking sheet, so you would insert your own info in it. That way I will not miss anyone's update and we can still track our processing times . So for now on please insert your own info into the spreadsheet. thanks :D

A question to all the (recent) AOR receivers? Did it come per email or letter?

It's been 3 weeks now and according to the spreadsheet, statistically, we sound hear from them soon.
