@Ivan0110 From my understanding you could apply for TRP if you are a citizen of visa-exempt country and you have some exceptional circumstances as a reason to visit Canada.

Welcome Lucky Rain!!

Question: My spouse does not speak english or french, do the officers at the border speak several languages? Will they call me in to translate? Or will he have to write down all the info and provide the officer with the written info? Thanks!

Would my wife being on welfare with two minor kids on her own and me not being able to support them from here, be considered exceptional/compelling circumstances by a visa officer to grant the TRP?

I suggest you to start a new thread, explain your situation and try to get answers from some of more competent members of this forum (PMM, Leon, rjessome...)

My husband´s address reappeared on ecas. Could this be a good sign? Any experience with this, guys?

I have the same update waikiki. As the sponsor I have my address and decision made. Under applicant it shows address, application received and medical results received. I received AOR June 4, I hope this means PPR email very soon :)

You just send it? Oh, ok :)

You should get approval of your sponsorship in 40 days or so. Then after that they send your file to Vienna and you'll know if they need additional information about military background.
My request for additional documents was sent by email one month after the file was transferred from Mississauga to Vienna.

(naravno da ce proci brzo :) )

jao konacno nekog srbina ovde da sretnem? :)

Ima nas kol'ko 'os!!! Samo smo mi i ostali!
Svi ostali vec otisli, nasli poslove, kupili kola, kuce, imali decu, otisli u penziju, itd, itd...

Hi everybody,

my husband is sponsering me and our VO is Vienna. We're applying outland but I'm living in Canada, so that I would have to fly to Vienna if they call me in for an interview.

My question is, how long in advance before the interview do they send you the "invitation", and do you have any chance to change that date at all?

Thank you for your time!

It's usually 3 weeks before scheduled date and they need confirmation by e-mail that you will attend.
As I know you can postpone it but don't do that unless you really have to.

Hi, my wife got our stage 1 approval yesterday ;D! Now I can join this board. Here is our timeline:
App. sent.: Feb. 20
rec. Feb. 29.
Aor and approval Jun. 14.
VO Vienna
Destination: Calgary
Med. done Jan. 2012
You can add me to the spreadsheet.

I am from a visa exempt country. Our case shuld be pretty straight forward, no military history and not much travel history (except as a tourist).

I wish good luck to everyone. I hope that the processing time didn't increase much with shutting down the Berlin and Belgrade VOs.

From any and everyones experience, how long after Vienna sends AOR do they request, let's say, additional documents, interview, military booklet, etc? Is it after 2 weeks, 1 month or...? Thanks!
