I saw in the liquor store yesterday that they have Bulgarian rakija now. My husband says it's good too.
LOL... They have Serbian "SOKOLOVA" too

Do you have a translation of your military booklet? This is what happened to Krofnica's husband. He brought the booklet and then they wanted a translation even though they had submitted it previously. Better make sure.

This is weird: One of my husband's colleagues had a dream about him last night. She doesn't know about his immigration application, nor about us being married. He has to keep it secret or his boss would fire him. Anyway, she had a dream that he would be leaving the company mid-October. Isn't that weird?

Yes I do have certified translation. I planed to bring that translation with me anyway, just in case...
There is sentence in email that says : "Please bring to the interview the documents, if any, listed on page two of this letter. You must bring the originals of any photocopied or translated documents already submitted." as I understand this doesn't say that they need translation cause it is already submitted? Just original booklet. Or I didn't understand that correctly?

Anyway... It's good that I have one.

Hi all,

Positive day today as Serdj977 and I await the Vienna interview! I have a feeling that e-mail from MP's office got things rolling a bit faster. Finally!
It does say in that e-mail to bring translations with you, but it is not highlighted in any way so people probably skim over it reading through the letter. Thanks for bringing it up Cleo!

On a more serious note , we are finding out so much valuable info about rakija these days! lol

Just a couple of days ago I asked the clerk at the liquor store to check for me, but I did not think to ask him to check through the brandy section- rakija is not truly a brandy, but often gets called that. Anyhow, I shall go look for Stara Sokolova and that bulgarian one.
Cleo should we do a comparative tasting when we get together? We can post a little review for the folks here.

Hey guys, question for you as I am curious..

Are we supposed to reply to the PPR email we get? It says to act within 2 months of the date of receipt yada yada yada. but then I started thinking and I was curious if I am supposed to email then saying we are going to come to Vienna or something just so they know, to confirm :S It def hasn't been 2 months yet and we are going next week

Also, we still haven't received anything in the mail, only via email.. I was wondering if thats because we gave them our email and that all correspondence is via email?

If they didn't specifically ask for confirmation you don't need to do it. You just have to send them passport or take it in person within two months and that's it. If in doubt you can always call them and ask.
I'm also interested in picking it up in person so keep us posted how did it go

I notice Vienna's update are usually fridays. they respond twice to my email inquiry on fridays. I think glak1234 received his PPR request also on friday. Try to reach/contact glak1234, maybe you guys can go together to drop-off/pick up your passports.

Hello Everybody,

Need some help in filling up the CAIPS/GCMS form. I will be requesting the said form as well as I'm the sponsor.
Section A: Does my husband need a consent letter inorder for my request to be complete?
I ticked hard copy (paper), what is this "examine copy of information in a government office" for?
Section C: Whose full address on the cheque or money order, my residential address printed on the cheque, the bank's address or their address?
