Fingerprints are always required for a background check in Canada, to my knowledge.JManoj said:Wow!!! That would be awesome! Did they ask for fingerprints too?
Yes they did...find a place that does electronic finger printing...way faster!JManoj said:Wow!!! That would be awesome! Did they ask for fingerprints too?
Yeah, I've seen your timeline. You have been processed 3 months in Mississauga + 3 in Vienna. My point is that your first part took too long, unfortunately, but for the Vienna part you should expect somewhere around 6 months in total, although that is just what I've seen lately, can be less or more. I certainly hope you will wait lessEmiliD. said:We are waiting 6 months now just hope it would be all over in 1-2 months, and finally be with my husband. And they are from Bosnia too. They even got approval from Mississauga a month after us,but that just luck like youre said .
We had to re-submit the updated form and that is the reason why took 3 months in Mississauga. And I sent an email to Vienna last month looking for info did they recieved our application, and for surprise they responded the next day, that the file was transfered on Dec 3rd . Gonna be in Manitoba, Winnipeg. I hope so too, thanks a lotspaceexp said:Yeah, I've seen your timeline. You have been processed 3 months in Mississauga + 3 in Vienna. I am not sure, because I didn't know they can do it the same day (and I was in Canada, so I sent mine to Ottawa). They should, those two go together, and CoPR is just printed out of the system, so it's less work than actual visa that has to be stamped into the passport. Good luck!EmiliD. said:Thank you sooo much Lol I'm so excited cant belive this waiting games is finally over. ,"as we all thought Vienna office is fast lately" - It only seems fast because many of the applications have no red flags and are easy application to process.ivakat2014 said:Hello, all.Writing to tell you some good news ,as we all thought Vienna office is fast lately so I got my passport request today.Soon traveling with my hubby to Vancouver.I want to wish good luck to all of you !!!
