Milan 13-1400 is still not bad considering the time of year.. and i dont think she needs to go thru immigration in Toronto. it just a connecting flight. she is landing in calgary.. I would assume so you wouldnt have to worry. Double check.. and If she is stuck Ill make PIta LOL

It will be point of landing in toronto. International flight have to go thru customs and immigration. I know its a good price but still 200-300 hundred to get to belgrade. Is it worth saving 3-4 hundred a person for an extra layover? Ive never seen prices like this. Ive looked at sofia, budapest, athens, vienna if its cheaper then you have 30+ hours in one way thats insane. Plus 2-3 layovers. Not sure if its because of the world cup. Its still june kids still have school. I dont get it.

It is high season Milance and everyone travels. Our travel agent told my sister you should have booked in december 2013/ Januray 2014 for your summer trip.

I know what you are talking about.... Long layovers thats crazy... I dont know why they make the world so complicated.

By the way Im not in the Vienna thread but I am a March applicant sponsoring my husband. He just submitted his passport this week for visa issuing. We are both so excited. Im probably the last person in the March thread +2 or 3 still waiting that are also Lebanese in the Beirut thread :)

Congrats :)
I know its high season but i have flown just about every month and time of year...booked 4 months ahead or 3 weeks before and during world cups and olympic seasons. Came across a flight that was 48hrs one way. I think its just a bit too much. Airline service goes down prices go up. It is what it is....just happy to be with my wife soon :)

Thanks Aleks :) its a bit cheaper thru Sofia and closer to Nis then Belgrade and just one stop. Around 1800 so that might be my best bet.

One way to where? I dont want to fly to toronto or montreal...get stuck in immigration for 2-3 hours and miss my flight to calgary. I will take a look. Anything thru amsterdam is over $2000.

Book with airtransat. Cheap flights from Amsterdam to Calgary, also one way. When you wait and book it approximately two weeks in advance or even less, the price will drop. Good luck!

Thanks :) return to amsterdam 1100 then another 3-4 hundred with air serbia would still be cheaper. Nothing available on the dates i need but still good price. Only problem with airtransat and condor is these planes are not very friendly to someone who is 6'2 and weighs 280lbs hahahaha. Last time i flew with Jat before they switched to Air serbia it was so cramped the lady next to me stood for awhile i think to give us all room. I thought they would be better planes...same planes just different logo. No leg room. I know i sound picky but it just drives me crazy and feel claustrophobic. :(

Hahaha. Wow 1100 still? I have flown with them for less than 600 euro's. I just booked it really close to my departure. If it's that much cheaper you could also pay to choose your seat and pick one next to the emergency exit. More leg space! Anyway, good luck and congrats on the visa!

If you want more legroom in air transat well you can pay little bit extra, and one way is more expensive than return, and alos it is high season , most of the people they booked their flight from January , I can see every day prices higher than 1800 for one way tickets ,
I am a travel agent and every day is harder and harder to find a cheap price, longer you are waiting more expensive flights are.
Air transat is not bad as you are saying , I have clients and also myself travelled with Air transat I upgraded my seats , and service was not bad, better than air Serbia ( or Ex Jat )

The best i found was Air Transat Toronto - Venice return ticket for $814 and a one way for my wife for $464. I would then spend a couple of days in Plitvice or Zagreb with family or friends and my wife would meet me there. Toronto - Calgary use aeroplan miles.

I know i can upgrade seats but reading reviews of people buying business class or seat upgrades then finding out they sold those to someone else and giving them seats at the rear if the plane....but looks like i dont have a better choice at the moment. Condor was 1500 for me calgary frankfurt belgrade and around 1100 for my wife one way. Dont know which would be better of the 2. If i wait till july i might as well wait until september lol the prices are ridiculous.

So the COPR arrived!! Unfortunately it has 3 errors on it. So we have to get a corrected one. Vienna is messing with us one step at a time! But we are so happy to know that we have the COPR that we can't complain :D
I just haven't heard of this happening to anyone on this forum. My goodness Vienna!!
