Nothing new here, still waiting, almost my medical and PC were recived 2 months ago. How did they confirm, by e mail?
I hope process is near the end for all of us who are waiting more than a year, but firstly you newpal, and CanucksFan also! Maybe we'll have some good news this week!

Same here my friend! They received our docs on march 18th. (they told me this after I made an inquiry)
No changes in our e-Cas as well!

I seriously doubt that Vienna is looking forward to deal with anyone any longer!

Class: Family / Spouse - Outland (I currently hold a visitor status and live with my spouse in Québec)
Application sent: April 8, 2014
Meds Done: April 1, 2014

anything new from Vienna??

I don't have any great news but I did send an email to Vienna on Monday afternoon asking for an update on our application and I advised them of my concern that my wife's medical will be expiring in one month. To my surprise she got a quick reply this morning. The email was almost like a standard copy/paste answer:

"Canada's Privacy Act prohibits disclosure of personal information to someone other than the individual concerned...

Applications for permanent residence in the Family class (spouses/ sponsored children) - category may take 13 months or more to process. However, this is an estimate only...

We will contact you in due course if we need additional documents- and if new medical examinations would be required."

The only positive thing for me from this email is a quick reply from Vienna and the fact that they replied to my wife directly which means that they had to open our file and look up her email. At least now I know that they have that info right.

The claim that it may take 13 months is either an old copy/paste or they know something that we don't ;D

@ CVRCA... yes they informed me after I asked about the New Medicals

@ alekgalorini : Nothing serious with my case, it was just change of Country Representative which took it long. otherwise I could have got visa last year.. but nothing is too late.. Every sunrise give newday, new hopes, new journey and new Life.. except Happiness which remains always the same ...

@ Tom.. VIENNA== PATIENCE... i think they worked well since the last year end quarter... so FINGER CROSS

truly hope they change to 13 months. one step closer

I just got my GCMS. Surprise surprise, nothing has started. Only the medical is passed and that is they thing they were not responsible for. It shows that they pretty much haven't touched the application since it arrived there.

No news here. Vienna received additional documents on March 13.

One question. My old police certificate expired on February 18. I received a new one from Germany on March 5 which will expire on June 5. Should I send it to Vienna before it expires even Vienna hasn't asked for it yet?

Little Apple i would send the new one before they are askign , i remebered when my husband police certificate expired we send another one even they never asked, cuz also MP told me to send because you will cut your waiting time
