that really sucks. I feel for you. It's a good idea to ask them which agency is still working on the background checks. I hope they do answer to you.McDutch said:GUESS WHAT!!!
No news!
HA
"In Process" still.
i don't think you can talk to anyone in person. Webform inquiry is the best way to contact them or contacting your MP so that he can inquire on your behalf. Sometimes they just don't respond or take a long time to do so, MP has better chances of getting info you want..Puffy said:Hi - does anyone in this conversation have experience with the process after Ecas shows "medical results have been received"? The medicals will expire in May (!) and no word on the Permanent Residence papers (we are from a visa exempt country).
What is the best way to contact Vienna? Has anybody talked to a person there? I recently sent an email and webform enquiry.
We are in the parent sponsorship stream, but in the relevant forum here on Canadavisa, there does not appear to be anybody going through Vienna. I am hoping for any insight from you folks regarding my questions and would like to ask for any other relevant tips.
Thanks and good luck to you all!

Luckily for me, Work Visa applications take 83 days atm and the wait times are going up instead of down.
Thanks so much! Very helpful info. Good to know that you think that may be a way to get more info. I really hope there will not be another medical. My mom would have to travel to another city. Again, thanks so much.SanBen said:i don't think you can talk to anyone in person. Webform inquiry is the best way to contact them or contacting your MP so that he can inquire on your behalf. If your parents' file gets finalized prior to the medicals expiring, they will issue the COPR, otherwise you will receive another request for a medical at a later date. Don't do the medical unless they ask for it, you need a form from them to do it. If they do ask for a new medical, the line "medical results have been received" will disappear from Ecas and reappear again once they receive new results.
i hope that clears things up a bit.
