Hello,
I am not a co-op student but I found an internship for the summer. The starting date is June 9th but I have a summer course that ends June 18th. I know that normally I’m allowed to work full time in the summer if I’m not taking courses but I see that the government lifted barriers on the working hours of international students https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...-in-essential-services-to-fight-covid-19.html

However, am i allowed to start June 9th or should I have them delay my starting date?
If you don’t know, tell me who to talk to urgently.

okay, i will answer myself. I talked to certified international student advisors in my university and they assured me that as long as it is not my last semester, i can work fulll-time in the summer regardless my course load AND keep full-time status in the semester before and after my work.

Yes, you can work full time during the official breaks. At my university it was May-August so doesnt matter how many classes you take you are allowed
