Also you may try northern BC for LMIA in a credit union or pay day loan establishment based on your banking experience. They rarely find people to work in those remote areas and even NOC C jobs are eligible for PNP. But don't keep much hope . Its a big risk. Whatever you do, don't take up illegal job without permit or go out of status. Hope it helps.

Dear SecularFirst,

Thank you warm for your kind response and showing spark of light, Can you please suggest OR give some more insights on what is procedure for LMIA through credit union ?

If there is some hope, I would like to give it a shot before I pack my stuff and go back home.

Thank you for your time,
Naitik

Ok, I'm going to be blunt here and give the harsh truth.

The guy just didn't bother to take times to do some serious research on the current immigration system, didn't bother to verify anything before quitting his stable job and leaving his family to come here on a VISITOR VISA then he's now crying about the pressure? I bet his good friend who "sponsored" him (he didn't actually sponsor anything, he just wrote an invitation letter.) taking a lot of money from him by promising OP will be able to find a job and become a PR in no time.

I say natural selection is running its course and weed out the uninformed ones.

You're not hearing me! Do you have a hearing problem? Or do you have amnesia? ::)

Your chances of getting an employer to agree to file an LMIA application for you in three months are damn near zero. It doesn't matter which part of the country you're looking. Unless you're Albert Einstein reincarnated, there is nothing unique about your skills to warrant an employer going out of the way to apply for an LMIA for you. In fact, in your case the truth is even simpler than that: you're a foreign national who needs employer sponsorship to even begin working in the first place. I hate to break the news to you but in 99.99% of cases like yours, as soon as they find out you need sponsorship your employment application goes straight in the trash and they move on the next applicant. Anybody who tells you different is just feeding you s.hitty pipe dreams.

You need to leave Canada by the date on your visitor record or six months after your admission, whichever happens sooner. If you remain beyond, you'll be without legal status and that's going to mess you up beyond your wildest imagination. Why? Because once you're out of status and you apply for any immigration benefit, the first thing CIC is going to want to know is your current status in Canada. With no legal status, they cannot approve any application from you. Instead, they'll send you a letter saying you're a person without legal status and need to leave Canada immediately. If you don't leave you'll be subject to enforcement action.

Huff and puff all you want but there it is. Plain and simple. Any other financial matters are strictly YOUR problem, not the Government of Canada's concern.

He calls it a stressful situation but that's ridiculous on its face. There is no stressful situation here. More precisely, his situation is no more stressful than it was before he came to Canada. He wants PR status now, he wanted PR status back then. The difference is he is now in Canada and somehow thinks that will magically get him what he wants. It would be like me calling this week stressful because I did not win the Powerball Lottery. Nowadays, they call it a 'stressful' situation when you don't get what you want at the push of a button.

Seriously, would he enter any other country in today's world and expect to become eligible for PR status in three months? It took me two and a half years to get PR status, all done from outside Canada mind you.

What planet are people living on these days?

I am just going to bullet point what others have said with a bit sauce from myself:

I have met to many recent "visitors" coming to Canada to check things out with the hope to stay, many of them working illegally:

* If you get caught working you will be deported with minimal to zero chances allowed to return
* Why would you quit your job, and go across the world on a whim when your bills and family need your support? Forgive my harshness but that is outright irresponsible.
* If you are on a visitor visa and overstay then you can get your friend in trouble. If you are working for cash under the table (see a lot of people do this) then you put both in serious trouble! To be blunt you have put yourself in a very bad predicament due to your own actions & decissions.

LMIA is very very hard to get and it takes time. First off your employer needs to prove he cannot find a local candidate for the job. He also needs to run a job posting in multiple media to prove he tried to find a Canadian first. The ads alone need to run for at least a month. LMIA takes 3-4 months to get approved. Unless you have knowledge in a very rate topic this is a very hard process to go through.

Everything you need to know is on the CIC website. Do your research, prepare your paper work and apply for Express Entry. It is a very simple and easy process. You just need to put the work in.

I guess he's in a stressful situation because he had to quit his job in India while staying here hoping for a miracle. Now the dream is shattered, and he doesn't know what to do.

I personally know too many people like OP. They are fed some stories about a heaven called Canada where you can get free healthcare, free bus passes, gym passes without having to work. As a result, they quit their jobs, burn bridges in their country and fly here to achieve their Canadian dream, and when the reality kicks in, they desperately try to stay here illegally working in some sweatshops with below minimum wages while also dragging the local average wages down.

In summary, these people are putting themselves and their family in jeopardy all because they are too naive or too lazy to do some basic Google searches.

My high school teacher would say ' Experience is the best teacher. But also the most expensive one'

OP is still in denial. Sooner he comes to his senses, better off he will be.

However, we are hear to just assist people with their immigration issues. I believe we have done our part. The rest is up to him.

I hope he makes the right choice and does not decide to do things that would make spoil the image of immigrants or make things difficult for future migrants.

I wouldn't say I personally know people like OP, but I have seen people in this situation ... way too many of them. My first six weeks in Canada after landing I had to stay at a backpacker hotel in downtown Toronto and that place was a hub for people like OP. They admitted to me in casual conversations that they were here on visitor status and yet they were scouring the internet looking for jobs all day every day, either not knowing or not caring that they needed a work permit and SIN number to start working.

Most of them were from visa-free countries -- not that it matters: CBSA should be rigorously screening all people seeking entry as a visitor for immigration intent. The fact that we see way too many people in visitor status seeking work does not speak very highly of CBSA's effectiveness at the ports of entry.

Let's hope for the best that he can bounce back from this ordeal.
Everyone deserves a second chance and he can start as soon as he can move on to this.
