Can anyone guide me pls!
I have received a PCC with wrong name and passport number against my Emirates ID number. Looks like there is some database error in their system?
When I approached Dubai police they asked me to contact MOI....When I reached out to MOI they asked me to reach out to Immigration & port authority!! ....I am a bit lost and not able to coordinate this from canada. Any advise is appreciated!

Have you tried the MOI app? Maybe that can help.
It will cost around 50 to 100 AED

MOI app came with the same errors....looks like the EID database has some data entry errors and they are carried through to PCC

Does the occupation stated on the PCC from MOI matter? My wife and I have got our PCC from MOI but the occupation stated is different than what we have mentioned on our profile for express entry so would that create an issue?

That shouldn't matter because the police clearance just needs to match with your name and passport number or EID.

hi! Just a confirmation if your no longer in Uae for about 15yrs, do u still need PCC to submit? Just a clarification about the past 10yrs? Pls.clarify. Thank u

Hi, Just to follow up on this in case anyone else is in the same situation. I contacted the UAE Embassy in Ottawa about the big red stamp saying "Please refer to the UAE Diplomatic Missions Abroad or Customer Happiness Centers of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation." They told me that I have to get it notarized and sent me a link to fill up the form, upload the PCC that i got in email and pay the fees. Within a week I was told to go to the embassy to pick the PCC up. The new one doesn't have the red stamp and instead has a stamp from ministry of interior and a signature.

You don't need to do so.It is accepted everywhere with red stamp on it.
However if you are still confused, you may apply another from dubai police website or app

I used the MOI app fpr UAE police certificate but I am getting a police certificate with a red mark on it stating that u need to visit the consulate in my own country and visiting consulate is not helpful at all. Could anyone please tell how to obtain one without a red mark?

I have the current resident status in UAE but right now I am applying from Outside UAE and hence I am getting this red mark stamp.

I am in the same situation, I received PCC marked with a red stamp and it needs to be attested, how to get this done?

I have applied for PC from Dubai ( though I was a resident of Abu Dhabi for 10 years). I paid AED 300 on July 7. So far I didn't get any response. I visisted thier website and given my case details to see what is progress. I found status is CANCELLED. Not sure why this is so. Can anyone help me what is my next step. How can I call them 901 from Canada? Are there any official email where there is a prompt response on my application? Can I send this information to IRCC saying that there is no response yet.
Kindly guide me and thank you in advance.

Dear Friends,
I have a situation that needs your expertise advice and help. I have applied for PR under H&C and got approved. I completed medical tests as well.
They asked for my PC from UAE and as there are some bank liabilities, I couldn't get it.

I mentioned the same thing while writing an email to PR processing officer ( Niagara)
{ I have applied for a police clearance certificate from the UAE a few times. They have responded that there are some liabilities to clear and I have asked them to provide me with the complete details. I shall contact the bank and settle them totally over a period of time. I explained this situation in my H&C application under "Supplementary information H&C considerations (IMM 5283)" Kindly find attached copy of my application for police clearance certificate from UAE, their response and my H&C application (IMM5283) Supplementary inormation for your kind review. }

Now PR processing office replied back " Please note that I have extended the due date for the file until October 8th 2022 to allow you to receive the UAE PC"
I am sure I can't get it until I clear the dues.
What is the best course of remedy for me to complete the PR process.
My sincere thanks for suitably advising me on this as I have been struggling to get this done since 2017.
